I think you should settle this argument with the promised IRL fight - my offer to host this duel still stands
Tigger would get rekt. Trust me.

Well, I've been trying since Friday afternoon. It's now 7am Monday morning. I managed to find four Perilous games and extract on three of them. Go f*ck yourself BioWare.
I have never had a problem finding a lobby on ps4. I wonder if that weird psn nat type junk has anything to do with it.
Matchmaking system was the biggest obstacle this weekend.I have never had so many black screens ![]()

Ever fought a Black Screen? I did once, sold the DAI/DAMP disc for good money too! ![]()
+1 to @DragonRacer rant(s). PS4 Perilous event was hilarious/dire. Connecting into a lobby was bad. PUGs were bad. Zone 5 was bad.
It's amazing how once i found a good host, we were two-personing it happily, 2 more PUGs join and make the game harder, and cause a wipe, when it was going fine before... Ugh.
I used up all my DAMP playtime doing the event, and couldn't be bothered doing more level-grinding for the community challenge. Sorry BSN, i'm a bad person, and feel bad. In other news i beat the final boss on Bloodborne, steaming thru NG+ and Chalice dungeons, and just need a couple of trophies for the Platinum.
Wait, how on earth is Necro, Templar and especially Elementalist less popular
Cause everyone completed the 250 elementalist months ago and as such is no longer played maybe?
I think this may overestimate the quantity of average play.
Elementalist is my most played class and I'm up to around 90/250.
(that said, I have no classes below 70/250, so I guess that's just under 1,000 levels)

TBH they should never do an event that is reliant on the s%**% matchmaking system.
Doubt it's even possible to solo perilous now with the archer 1 shots and increased enemy spawn if you can't find a match then your screwed.
I didn't do this weekends challenge because it seemed like they were trolling.
I no longer see the Community challenge listed on XBOX 360's version of Inquisition HQ. I don't know if that means we made it or not.
This was a pretty weird challenge design, because the more you do it the harder it gets. (i.e. it's much more time consuming to gain levels 11-20 than it is to gain levels 1-10)
So unless you were sitting on level 1s in all the "favored" classes, you couldn't really contribute that much to the challenge even if you wanted to.

The weekend challenge always disappears from the HQ once the anointed time arrives. However, if you don't see it listed in the "completed" weekend challenge section, then it's a safe bet to assume your platform did not make it.
I agree about the oddity of the design. Somewhat because, yes, the mid-level characters take longer to level up than freshly-promoted ones. But I also found pairing a community leveling challenge with a personal Perilous challenge to be counter-intuitive. Because you know what happened? I leveled up my Elementalist to Level 20 (got my personal 10 levels since he started at 5 this weekend) and then spent the rest of my time trying to get 5 successful Perilous matches done. That Level 20 was helping nobody by that point, but like hell did those Perilous PUGs need me making them even worse with low-level challenge characters. By the time the frustration of that was completed, I had no heart left to try and level up other characters for the community. I was spent.
I wonder how many other people spent potential leveling time hurling their Level 20's into Perilous attempt after Perilous attempt?

Probably a ton, I had a necro and elementalist at 20 and had to keep using them over and over to get 5 matches done. I must say, thank goodness I did it on Saturday as Sunday I could barely find a lobby. And when I did there were people who had no business being in perilous. I joined one, I think it was a level 4 lego and level 1 hunter; as soon as I load the hunter says "Now I know my hunter sucks right now" That was my cue to exit.
I take it PS4 failed the community challenge? Last I saw late Sunday we weren't done level 4 yet. I thought we had a decent pace but everyone dropped off the map yesterday.
Did any platform make it?

If master console race failed, we all failed.

Well I played a level 20 character (Elementalist) for the first time ever just to get that 5th Perilous completion, so that wasn't helping the community 'gain levels' challenge.
But I see / saw a lot of people playing level 20 Whatevers in Perilous, so I can't say this particular challenge is 'at fault' for that behavior.

PC made it.

Yeah, we did. I think I saw lynroy post that we had made it to the 4th star around 3am EST this morning. I highly doubt we got the remaining 20,000 levels done in whatever few hours were left after that.
Did any platform make it?
Good question. I had thought I read that XBox 360, PS3, and PC were on or above pace? But haven't heard from their camps since then. I know PS4 lagged behind the whole time and that XBox One was even further behind.
360 still needed almost 4,000 levels as of late last night (Sunday / Eastern) so I'm gonna say 'no way' unless the West Coast really represented hard on this one.

Wow really? We were almost finished 4th star at like 7pm MST. Now it really looks like no one played Sunday.

No, but having a community leveling challenge the same weekend as a personal Perilous challenge was disappointing. My personal example as a... well, example. I had to choose between being 'selfish" and wasting time with a Level 20 in Perilous (which did nothing for the community challenge) versus trying to help the community by leveling those characters in Routine/Threatening all weekend.
The Perilous challenge would've meshed better with, say, the repeat of the Golden challenge a week or two ago. When you needed to earn gold medals for both yourself and the community, Perilous makes sense because successfully completing it IS at least one gold medal.
I suppose one could argue that you could take under-20 characters into Perilous and work on both the leveling AND the Perilous match challenge there, but, frankly, that's a recipe for disaster unless you are a really good player. And most of the random community is not that. Myself included, as I wouldn't personally take anything less than 17 in there because I know I'd be a burden to the others and I simply refuse to do that.
Did any platform make it?
PC completed the community challenge yesterday late afternoon.

It was ok to combine them. You get the most levels off of a Perilous run, afterall.
Level that works is going to depend on so many things it is hard to say, but in 3 pugs I used for my last 3 personal perilous runs didn't have any character at 20. But in any case if someone was going to stick to 20, it might have been better for them to run Arcane Warrior or one of the characters that didn't count for the goal anyway, and have the other people run sub-20 elementalist and necros, dagger rogue, whatever.
I guess it just depends, people didn't need to run perilous all weekend to get the community goal, and there seemed to be a lot of pc games in routine and threatening when I was looking.
