Why is Bioware waiting so long just to reveal a title? Beyond that so few concrete information

There's a difference between long development cycles with qualified developers (Blizzard, Irrational, Rockstar, BGS, Valve, etc.) and incompetent developers who haven't made a good game in over a decade (Square Enix). Do not confuse the two.

Aren't Square Enix publishers now? I know of at least two recent successful games they published - Deus Ex HR and Tomb Raider reboot.

They are publisher who owns many studios, much like EA, Ubisoft, and Activision. Square, who Enix bought, was a developer that made the Final Fantasy games.

Half Life 3 confirmed!

Unfortunately, Half Life 3 has never actually been in development, thus it's a moot point... Valve doesn't care about making video games anymore. They just care about making a profit on their digital retail service and wasting funds making consoles and their own OS. Valve is barely even a game developer these days.

We already received a teaser of the next Mass Effect at E3 as well as the Mako in action during Comic-Con. I'm expecting actual gameplay or a story-based trailer at E3 this year. The game has been in development since 2013, so it's quite a ways into development at this point.

As to why the next Mass Effect doesn't have a title? BioWare would rather wait before releasing more information about the game. Perhaps the title somewhat spoils what the game will be about. More than likely, we will know the title of the game after E3. I'm happy BioWare is taking their time to create the new Mass Effect. If EA didn't force BioWare to rush ME2 (less than three years development) and ME3 (two years development) out the door, who knows how much better both games could have been. DAI was delayed an entire year and I believe it paid off. Longer development cycles are generally better than shorter ones.

teaser TRAILER like this DA:I's

Everyone should expect the disapoinment that comes from the Next Mass Effect being a "Mass Effect Pre-Sequel" and a pile of uninspired dreck like most pointless spinoffs. The most likely place they will craming it in is during the first Shepard is dead period while he is being reanimated for 2 years at the beginning of ME2. Expect party members in NME to be previously over looked b-side NPCs, bosses, and or enemy characters you easily forgot about in ME2/3. Expect ridiculous levels of retconning and plot shoehorning. Expect a Multiplayer that is bulit like the horrible DAMP with it's endless item generating just to burn them trash heap and mindless "leeroy jenkins" charging with everyone just blindly bum rushing to the end of the level. Expect to be beat over the head with an overtone that puts Synthesis as the canon ending in ME3.

If this wasn't a joke it should be it made me start laughing uncontrolably(I mean no disrespect by this), I have seen nothing to hint at pre-sequel. In fact only 2 possibilities I can see as possible AU(reboot thats technically not a reboot *cringe*) or sequel set X-years after ME3 to allow for the completely new look of tech in ME explained as post-war progress and maybe allow ending to be ignored or explained as enough time passed the differences are nearly(or completely) impossible to see.

Star Wars Battlefront. EA needs that game to have its spotlight before Mass Effect. (Battlefront gets its big reveal tomorrow)

DA:I had the limelight, Battle Field Hardline, now Star Wars Battlefront. Star Wars comes to the theater this year and Battlefront needs the attention. It probably means more to EA's bottom line.

Mass Effect Next will come a little bit later.

EA is a big publisher. They can handle releasing multiple AAA games that have relatively different audiences as well as developers.

I need a source for all these claims.
