Seriously, I saw no elf or dwarf Wardens as I murdered hundred of them in Adamant Fortress.

In fact, they all seemed to be human.

Last time I checked, Wardens accept everyone from all races, If that's true then why did I only encounter human Wardens?

Is there an explanation for a lack of non-human Wardens or did I just accidentally miss them all?

A lot of non-human Wardens show up at Skyhold if you recruit them, so I'm not sure what the human dominated Adamant is about. Weird.

Yep, I saw Dwarven wardens hanging in Skyhold after I rectruited them.

Probably an afterthought.

They had more brains than the humans and avoided unnecessary bloodshed by not submitting themselves to an idiot.

It was probably quicker to make it that way.

Because more variety would take more time and money.

...but if you want an earnest answer, with actual lore speculation, I suspect that the Wardens have a lot more humans in their number than Elves and Dwarves. They're eager to take anyone capable, but humans are more likely to be trained fighters.

Well, more likely than Elves at least. Elves aren't allowed to even have weapons in most alienages, let alone train with them.

As for surface Dwarves, they might not be as persecuted a minority as Elves, but they're still a minority.

I like to imagine that the Dwarves and the Elves in the Orlesian Wardens, being far more sensible than the nutty Humans, decided to follow in Alistair/Stroud/Loghain's footsteps and go AWOL after learning of Clarel's plan, that's why you didn't see any of them at Adamant... hence the reason why they're still alive and able to appear in Skyhold later on?

I thought that it was stated in Origins that dwarven Wardens are relatively rare because of the declining dwarven population and the issues associated with dwarves leaving Orzammar.

Speaking of which, I think I saw a few Warden mages around Skyhold as well. I assume those were sensible people who gone AWOL or weren't performed demon binding rituals yet, and thus free from Corypheus's control. Yeah, apparently the Nonhuman are far more sensible than those nutty Humans who blindly follow Clarel's order without a second thought.

If you don't recruit Jana the elf at Crestwood, she gets sacrificed at Adamant.
