I don't give a damn. Don't care about the samsung one either. I don't get smart watches or watches in general come to think of it. Maybe i'm getting old.

Ugh, ya? Other than counting pulse and respiration rate, it makes me feel cool.

Haha oh yeah, I forgot about that. I only used to wear one for counting rates.

The technology is just not there to make it a buy. Basically the watch does everything and less your phone can do. Not to mention the device does not have wifi and just syncs to your phone. That to me makes the whole system redundant. The reason why the smart phone was such a good computer was so that it was portable and it combined the features of your phone and features of your computer. This is just kind of ridiculous. Maybe if wifi support is added or the phone could sync up to multiple phones. Not just phones, if they extends it to multiple ...wait a second.

Maybe apple is coming up with a system that would allow a wearable device to sync up to another wearable device that isn't exclusively a phone. To create this whole wearable ecosystem and allow seamless transition of information? That would sound good to me, I grab one device and it already has existing information and workflow from the last decive. We are not there yet, but I guess that is the step where this whole thing will be taken to. At the moment, I will not be purchasing it(I might buy the android one and port a few apps over there) but I see no need for it right now.

Technology has to learn to let some of these things grow first. Example was that google headset which just wasn't ready.

Now this right here is a good idea for a medical application.

Yes but with more computing power, it could be very beneficial.

If you can make something that's cheap and not intrusive, yet can quickly accurately measure vital signs, EKG, blood glucose and other measures in real time for consumer use, you'd be banking! It's still baffling that heart monitors are still so cumbersome with wires sticking out of patient gowns.
