Do the world states you import for new games stay with the new character you created or do they replace other world states for all characters?

Lets say you create a world state for a new character where Loghain is recruited into the grey wardens and then import it for a Female Dalish elf in Inquisition. You then create another World State where Loghain dies and import it for a Male Dwarf character in a new game. Will the new world state replace the one made for the Dalish elf, so when you play as the Dalish elf it now uses the newly created one? Or do the world states get locked in for the characters so even if you load up a new one and go straight to a character already created it will still use the one it was created with?

I am worried that I will have to load up specific world states each time I play different characters so i just want to get this cleared up for me.

Sorely needed!  So many errors are started in the keep as simply input errors or leftovers from some past play or some merged distortion of characters played.  This is why it is so important to check the Keep carefully.  You need a profile on the keep for each character and I'd like it stored locally "Confirm character "xxx" and download" , then you have the option to upload your various characters for the game.  A skip "Character Creator" flag might also be handy as well for using previous art work.
