Though my Shep's a Vanguard, her trusty full-auto combo is the Harrier, Eagle and Indra. But no matter the combo, the Harrier is always the AR she rolls with. Notable mention to the Mattock though. That gun will always have a special place in my arsenal, and Garrus sports it now, almost like inheritance.

My Garrus is almost full time sniper... I give him those new Turian assault rifles though.. I kind of imagine that he was the one who designed them. "The token resources" after ME2.
I never played Vanguard at a distance like that.

I just finished another full trilogy playthrough and played the Citadel DLC for the first time. Got my hands on the M-11 Supressor pistol, which I had never seen/used before. That thing is WICKED!!! I used it in the final push to the beam (you know..with like 10 banshees and all those damned brutes). That little weapon takes out banshees quicker than anything else. So...even as an infiltrator...I was going pistol first on the final 2 missions cause that gun is amazing!!! A bit overpowered...but...meh...why not!!! ![]()
Also, sad that game is over. Now...to find something else to do...uggg!

Javelin or M98 Widow. Hard to choose between wallhax scope vs aesthetics, but either way I can't be bothered to shoot things more than once or twice, Atlases or Banshees included.

That's why I like the Crusader... it's almost a sniper rifle. I like putting it on soldiers or even adepts though. Not the VG (that's the Raider). A perfect weapon for Jack or Tali too.

That's the N7 shotgun that uses slugs right? It was way too accurate, for me anyway, and it felt odd useing it.

The M-22 Eviscerator shotgun and the Mattock. Mattock is a great all-rounder and M-22 + biotic charge made for some of my favorite combat moments.

Yeah.. it has little spread, so not ideal for a vanguard. Good for other classes though.. and your squadmates will keep at a distance with it. Why I say Tali (or Jack in Armax).

In ME2 the Widow, that gun was an unstoppable beast that tore through everything and I loved it. I didn't even use heavy weapons on insanity, I had my Widow to pop heads and jinx Harbinger (the collectors he posseses are always the same, so you can actually prevent him from assuming direct control for a while.)
I also liked the mattock a lot but in ME3 I'll admit to going the Harrier rout, after all I moved to xbox and that autoaim makes the widow useless whenever an enemy decides to walk sideways through your scope, which happens a lot more than you'd expect.

eh, it functions more like a multi-shot DMR ala the M-99 Saber or Viper. I wouldn't compare it to the ability of the Javelin to kill an entire squad through a wall with a single shot, or practically 2 shot an Atlas on insanity (power use included.) Crusader's base damage is about half the Widow's and less than half of the Javelin's.
I like it, but I don't use it that often because pretty much anything I can do with it, I can do with the Saber more efficiently (sans the native .5m of piercing the former has). If I'm going shotgun, its either the Claymore or Raider.
As for putting it on squadmates, depends on what role you want for them (I don't actually have it in SP). I don't like how the AI tends to keep its distance with weapons like the Graal and GPS though, so Tali generally gets a Wraith or Claymore with smart choke. I generally play ranged soldiers or infiltrators, so I wan't her to be functioning as CC and tanking the enemy via energy drain spam while I rain lead based hate and discontent on them. If she just sits in cover right next to me and takes 5 shots to kill a lone trooper, she isn't being very useful to me. Her and James are both survivable enough (the former through energy drain DR and the latter through Fortification and high base shields) to close the distance, and once they are right up on the enemy they can kill or seriously maim one with pretty much every shot from the latter two weapons despite the reduced squadmate weapon damage ME3 has. Jack's a different story, since she has no DR or way of restoring shields, but only average barriers. I find her more useful with a pistol than a shotty at least in ME3.
If the squadmate AI does the same thing with the Crusader as they do with other high power, semiauto single shot guns like the Saber, Black Widow etc, than they will pop out and fire it once before returning to cover for a few seconds, just like they do with a single shot weapon like Claymore or Javelin, which actually won't do much damage in their hands. I've heard the Venom is good on them as well, but I don't have any of the DLC weapons in singleplayer except Javik's PPR.

I mostly like sniper rifles and assault riles. One of my favorites is the Indra. rapid fire through a scope, delivering one headshot after the other, very satisfying.
I also like the old ME1 sniper rifles, simply because of their sound effect: BOOOOOM! ![]()
As for assault rifles, I'll go with the Harrier. In terms of use, it's a fairly classic AR. Only downside is that it kinda makes the game too easy.

Arrg! The description of the Indra sounds like my beloved Raptor with a kick! Sadly, I do not have the pack that has that weapon to try it

It plays a lot like the Raptor. Does a little less damage per shot but has more rounds per clip and you can hold the trigger rather than fanning it because it's full auto.
I actually prefer the Raptor. I like the aesthetics more and it has a much quicker reload.

The Venom shotgun is so OP it's hilarious, combined with Incendiary Ammo it's basically an I Win Button.

IN mass effect 2 I hope that they make the weapons available to everyone again like they have in 1 and 3
I really want the infiltrator to get the adrenaline rush ability, I love sniping but I suck at the timing so adrenaline is gold for it.
I use it all the time with my soldier sniper
