Well we know it's not Colorado. Not too far off... means... the next state? And it's probably not Arizona, New Mexico or Texas, since those aren't known for snow.

I'm going to guess Pocatello, Idaho

 

Pocatello(Montecello) sound like it should be in Virginia, and might be a Wisconsin town, and Idaho has plenty of snow being mostly in the high Rockies elevation, and going by how distances are perceived out West, its a hop skip and a jump from Aspen, and if you asked most people in the US where Idaho is, they dont know

Living in the warmest city in Canada, no, no it doesn't. It snowed once, and it lasted about half a morning. Of course I can't speak for those frigid east coasters.
