I'm going to make more un-friends here...

But I do enjoy defeating Cerberus forces. Also love taking out Banshee's and corrupted Rachni.

For named enemies I'll go with TIM, Kai and Udina. I enjoyed ending their lives soooo very much!

Others have mentioned Vasir. She was good. Shepard is better. I found her end fight annoying ... which is partly why Kai Lame fights are annoying. Similar dynamics.

Honorable mention: The Council in ME1. I really really loved ending them.

Brooks was great, and so was TIM. I think I prefer TIM in the end. If I had to choose based on combat encounters I'm going to go with Ceberus in ME3. It's still my favourite faction to fight in mp, though I did use to rage on those damned ninjas (I forgot the name, it's been a while).

I did enjoy hearing them yell 'TAKING CASUALTIES'

Its unfortunate Udina couldn't be shot in the shoulder or arm to find out why he did what he did

I've never saved them even when playing as a paragon

Yeah, gameplay-wise ME3 Cerberus is probably my favourite thing to fight, even if I don't like their role in the plot at all.

Hmm. I do like when Cerberus rolls out an Atlas like it's a gamechanger, only for me to take out all of its shields and most of its armor with one shot of my Black Widow before it even fully entered the area. I either finish it off with the next shot, or the first shot opens the canopy and then I can unleash some loltilery on the hapless mooks. I also make it a priority to never let a Harvester leave alive.

In MP my Fury explodes ALL the things and Cerberus has been found to explode the most satisfactorily. Geth pew pew too much, Reapers have too many big things that take multiple explosions to take down and Trollectors are as bullshit as anywhere else. I also love slashing up phantoms with my Shadow, or showing them who has the better Hand Blast of Doom via the Slayer. The poetic justice never gets old. Or melting them with my Destroyer's Particle Rifle. Or shieldbashing with the Paladin. The N7s really make up for a lot of injustices in SP.

I do enjoy the Brutes. It's fun to stay out of cover and roll out of the way as they lunge.

Leviathan scared the hell out of me.  The scene with the guy smashing his head into he glass and Leviathan talking through him and all those glazed eyed people.  That was pretty wicked.

I also like Captain Wasea.  She took me quickly out the first time I fought her!  Plus, she yells that she wants to turn my head into a "pulpy mass".  I don't use subtitles, so I had no idea what the hell she was saying.  I finally had to turn the subtitles on.  "Pulpy mass".  heh heh...it is still funny to me for some reason (But I am a dork). But seriously, she was a pretty bad-ass asari...she even had those evil looking markings that were bright pink.  An admirable foe, meethinks.

I also loved all the merc leaders on Omega.  "You think you can screw with the blue suns?"  Hah!  They were awesome!

And also that crazy woman who was using Okeer's krogans to train her mercs.  Her voice over the loudpseaker was kinda cool in the background while you are trying to fight your way to Okeer.

So I guess...I really like all the merc bosses.  They have alot of personality and they are fun to take out. They also have some great lines.

Pulpy mass..heh heh...

Oh...and worst are the stupid little rachni spiders.  What is the point of those things?  Seriously, am I a Spectre or a pest controller?

Also...Miranda's father could have been a glorious bad-guy.  The build-up to him was pretty amazing, Then you get some crap dialogue and weak standoff.  What a waste!!  He could have easily been one of the best villains in the game!

I agree. A lot of people thought fighting mercs was dumb, but they were all pretty funny and had personality.

As for the little spiders, they can be a pain on insanity, if you're in cover or something..not paying attention. The poison slowly eats at you too. Every little hit counts then.

Triple quoted for damn truth. That's like my fourth biggest disappointment with ME3 after the endings, Miranda and Kasumi's apperances, and Shepard's derp throughout. I was picturing Viktor from Underworld. Instead we got a guy Conrad Verner could beat up.

And speaking of random mooks, LOKI mechs were pretty funny to mess with in ME2. Shoot off both arms then beat them down lol. Also incinerate any vorcha pyros for insta-splosion.

Overall favorites would be Harbinger and Sovereign of course.  But in terms of enemies I actually fight that would be a tougher one.  I do enjoy the Vasir fight especially when playing as a vanguard.  Favorite factions to fight would be Reapers, Collectors (ME 2 and ME 3 MP), Cerberus, and Eclipse Mercs.

In ME1, I liked the snipers best. I like enemies that don't have many hitpoints themselves but if you let them sneak up on you, they can do real damage to you as well. On the other side of the spectrum, I hate any enemy type that can cast Immunity.

In ME2, the Vasir Boss Fight was pretty good but overall, I think I like fighting through the Shadow Broker troops in the destroyed Baria Frontiers offices best. With flash-bangs and all sorts of weaponry and powers, they are the most versatile enemies in the game IMO.

Honorary mention must go to Vorcha Pyros - gotta love it when the enemy supplies you with living explosives. ;)

In ME3, I think most enemies are very fun to fight. I'd say my favorites are probably mostly among the Cerberus troops. It's tough to pick single enemies here though, because in most fights, it's the mix of troops that provides the fun (take out engineers and nemesis first while evading troopers and centurios, etc.)

Man you just love to hate on Liara don't you? you don't like fine treat her like **** and leave her on the ship you only need her for 4 missions anyway (5 if you count Noveria in ME1) so what is your big issue but don't go adding another character to the team just because... I mean why would centuries old Vasir who has been a specter for decades want to work with you?

But seriously we get it everyone on the forum knows you hate Liara do you have to remind us every time the conversation even gets close to her?

You dont need Liara at all. I have done fine without her in ME1 and even better in 3.

Any way, Saren is my best enemy by far (I like to kill him myself, after all Shepard did say he would kill him).

Banshees.

I'll second, third, and forth that.  Man they freaked me the hell out.  Between the one-shot claw through the gut and that high pitched whine...definitely.  I also put the praetorian up there as well for it's general creepiness.

My favorite enemy or rather enemy type has to be the Blue Suns Legionnaire.

Like their designation, their combat ability, and the fact they are not limited to just one race.

Blue Suns Legionnaire

Which one are they again?

All the mercs are kind of racially based though. Blue suns are batarians, humans, and Turians. For some reason, there's Krogan Blue Suns in the comics, but not the games.

I don't think Zaeed is happy about any of this :D

The helmet-less(?) troops with the shields and M-15s,

They gave me a lot of trouble when I started my insanity run, more so then the Centurions and Commanders.

Storywise, my favorite is easily Saren. He's like an indoctrinated version of Renegade-Shepard. Sovereign is also hands down my favorite Reaper (I like Harbinger a lot, but he doesn't have a great speech like Sovereign and he's disappointingly silent in ME3). I just love ME1, I guess.

My favorites to fight, I'd say Brutes, Heavy Mechs and Geth Primes. I'm also a huge fan of the Shadow Broker boss fight. Basically, I like big things I can shoot with the shotgun.

Yeah, in retrospect, Saren is pretty great. I think he was more renegade as a normal person though (like in the novels). As Sovereign's servant, I believe him when he says "I'm not doing this for myself! My way is the only way we can all survive." He does everything a "completionist" type of Shepard would do. He tries to cure the genophage, bring back the rachni, and had an army of Asari, Turians, and Geth on his side..He has his own little galactic alliance of sorts. Then he chooses Synthesis. Heh..

Yea, story-wise, I agree, Saren was definitely one of the best. I also liked Tela Vasir a lot as an enemy. She is cunning, capable and she is yet another mirror imaeg of Shep in some way. Also her line "Don't you dare judge me!" was great.

How anyone can actually like Harby (and not just laugh about him) is beyond me though. This guy was such a let-down after Sovereign, it's hard to see the funny side, despite the trash talk.

Harbinger was so overacted it was hilarious. He was a caricature of the reapers.

Vasir had a lot of potential. Too bad she didn't escape. And she was easy to defeat if you made Liara a controller.

Saren was the best villain of them all. The Illusive Man just went to another level of stupid in ME3.

Leviathans were stupid. I just finished the DLC a couple nights ago. Oh well... 400 easy war assets.
