:Spoilers: that's the next DLC. Even deadlier bears.
It's a hybrid game - Angry Bears!
Corypheus attacks; defend Haven by throwing bears at his army with the trebuchets!

He might as well. Given how passive Cory is as a villain, just replacing him with bears - that actually do something to the inquisitor - would be prefferable.

There were lots of bears in DAO, but they weren't a b!tch to kill. Also, things didn't respawn in that game... like they do in DAI (and MMOs, gee...) In Skyrim, things at least take days to respawn, whereas in DAI, everything respawns frequently and often right in front of you. There's hardly any time for respite in this game.
I ever tell you guys about that pointless Great Bear quest in the Hinterlands, and how three Great Bears spawned all around us? Everyone died except me. GG, Bioware.

Bears are the true evil in Thedas - beware the bears!
No kidding. Especially when they do a Superman landing right on top of your mage Inquisitor and the rest of the group is engaging a mob of lyrium smugglers. It's an automatic reload.
I thought the respawning was really annoying too but for some reason after I left the area and came back there were barely any enemies. Maybe it's that world manager thing they were talking about before release, anybody else experiencing this?
At which patch level are you referring to? At patch 5 when I reload my save the mob is instantly upon me.
Besides that DA:I is still much better than Skyrim. Bears are not the Problem. Ever tried to fight giants in the emerald graves without getting your party killed by Brontos? If they would at least drop something usefull.

We already have the deadliest bear in the game from Jaws of Hakkon, so old the skin has turned to stone and scales.
At least one dev has similar feelings about bears:

Corypheus returns. This time with a red lyrium bear!
So with the whining and do your part in reducing the population of Bears.
