Haven't experienced this issue before until today. After clicking continue on the main screen to start playing, it'll load per usual but after the "tips/codex" stuff is finished, the screen goes black but the inquisition symbol keeps flashing for a few seconds and then the music stops/symbol freezes and I have to reboot. 

 

Tried 3 times with no success and none of my files are corrupted which is good (backed up saves just incase) Anyone else experiencing this today/recently? First time for me. I wanna play.

I haven't had this problem with my PS3, but are you sure that the loading time isn't just long? Cause sometimes it can be very long. Not saying that you can't have that problem, DAI still has lot of performance issues.

I am also playing on ps3. The only time I had this issue was at launch when the hinterlands were generating corrupted saves. Try starting a new character and saving and then loading that save and see if the issue persists.

Yup, I had this problem on PS3 so I feel your pain. I would just try to keep loading and hope for the best - I did manage to overcome it and complete the game but then upgraded to PS4 where I have had none of these issues. Doesn't help you, I know but I think the old gen is struggling.
