Hello all,

I am trying to edit a creature so that it ALWAYS drops a RANDOM piece of equipped armor/weaponry whenever it dies, i.e. henchmen, etc.

I know I can get creatures to drop specified items if I check the "droppable" option on the inventory item, but is there a way to make a creature drop a random equipped item every instance that it dies?

I have played around with the treasure system but have gotten no consistent results.  I strongly suspect this is in part due to my lack of understanding of what the float fields are asking for.

I am trying to avoid creating a whole new script for it, and trying to just get by with exported versions of creatures that have changed variables.

FYI, I am not a computer science major so the more caveman-ish your help, the better.

Please help.

I've never really played around with it, but my understanding is that random loot is specified via the Treasure Category drop-down in the Package/Scaling section of the creature. You can select which loot category the creature will draw from, and then the creature's Rank will determine which specific sub-table it uses to spawn items from. So for example \_Core_Creatures\Darkspawn\Ogres\ogre_boss draws from the Darkspawn treasure category, and because its rank is Boss, uses the TS_DarkspawnCreBoss loot table (from the comments, 33.33% money, 25% grenades, 41.67% health potions).

If you want a specific pool of loot to draw from, you'll likely need to add your own treasure category and table/s. It will involve extending GDAs and creating new ones.
