My "Flames of the Inquisition" armored mount of course, because it's armored.

Only used them a couple of times (don't want to miss banter), but I do really like how the Harts looked when I used them.

I find myself hardly using them. I'll only use them if I need to cover some quick distance but for long trips on foot, I never use them. I do exploit them for defying terrain.

I only use mounts when I need to travel from one place to another in areas i've already been to. But when I used one, my Dalish Inquisitor rode a Royal Sixteen.

I love the harts.

I never use them, either. Between the lack of banter, the inability to interact with anything and the fact that they just look weird and way too big, I found them to be a huge letdown. Seriously, the horses in particular look like cheap plastic toys. I ended up buying a lot of the mounts just to have a look at them, but none really stood out enough to remember them, except maybe the red hart.

Nuggalopes of course.

Even if my Lavellan riding the damn thing just looked...downright uncomfortable really. Good way to work on your flexibility, I suppose.

I couldn't use it. I felt bad for the horse, lol.

I pretty much went everywhere on foot.

No matter how many mounts I have I usually always end up using Dennet's horse...cause I keep forgetting to change it.

I'm gonna be the exceedingly lame one here who picks plain old horses. Orlesian Courser. <3 ;D

At least I'll have Dennet's approval, right? >___>

The Fereldan Forder that Dennet gives you, a Hart or the Imperial Warmblood.

The mount doesn't stop banter.   You can spend ages walking around huge areas with no one bothering to talk.   There was a bug originally (it seemed to me) where you would dismount and hear the tail end of banter, making you think that if you hadn't ridden you would have heard something important, but sadly that was not the case; you just don't get anything at all.

I think the Hissing Wastes would have driven me insane without a mount, particularly when I realised that staying on foot didn't increase my chances of banter as we crossed those vast wastes.

I usually get a lot of banter in the Wastes. The only map I have a problem with is the Exalted Plains, though I do get it there on occasion.

As for mounts, they pretty much don't exist for me anymore. If the entire party had mounts then that would change, but alas.

For me at least, the banter seemed to trigger more often if I mounted/dismounted often; as well as fast travelling. The banter triggered pathetically rarely considering there's over 5 hours of party banter.

There is no beast as majestic or as powerful as the mighty Tiddles Majoris.
