Ok, I'm TRYING to be nice, but I'm starting to suspect you're just a Troll. Like TSTAR said. How do I know Zev's mission doesn't appear, BECAUSE I FKING SEEN IT MYSELF! http://dragonage.wik.../Zevran_Arainai read Dragon Age Inquisition, it says "IF Zevran isn't romanced, a war table" blah blah blah.... Don't try assuming I have no idea what I'm talking about, when you obviously never romanced Zevran, and done what I've done. If you said, "Merrill and Hawke, had a half-breed baby." I'd have to take your word for it, because I didn't romance Merrill. -_- Are people really this ignorant?

My post was was refering to the Warden AND Zevran. I jumped a line, to reply to something you said, like "Wouldn't you want to choose his ending?" I was saying I did choose my ending, I chose to bind Urthemiel's soul. Now my Warden's with his elven lover. I don't see how you mistaken that for Zevran, when in my original post I said my Warden was an Amell, which is a human/mage (Hawke's mother's family name), not an elf.

That's true Zevran was being chased by the Crows, however during the time that DA2 mission was taken. The Warden would of still been helping rebuild the Keep, from Awakening. Remember it was attacked, oh and don't forget Warden recruitment. The Warden was away, so he couldn't protect Zevran. Not to mention, "A Murder of Crows." was bugged to hell and back. It didn't even acknowledged if you romanced Zev.

Scroll to 1:16, and tell me WTF Ignacio says. Boy, don't you feel like an idiot?...

Noo, it wasn't Tamlen. Tamlen http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Tamlen is the best friend of the Dalish origin character, who later turns into a Shrieker (Elven darkspawn). You're thinking of Taliesen. Taliesen http://dragonage.wik...m/wiki/Taliesen was a human, who was bought as a child the same time Zevran was, not an elf x_x

As for the epilogue... AGAIN, it should not be taken completely serious, because as I said... *sighs and takes a breath* BW wasn't sure if they'd ever use the characters again. So they made up stories, as place holders, that were later changed once DA2 came out... Now I need a drink

Fine. I concede that point then. But I don't think it's ignorant to demand proof.

That's my point. Awakening tore the Hero away from Zevran for game purposes. So a future installment might do the same. Wouldn't you rather have the option to keep the Hero out of the story and with Zevran?

Ignacio says exactly what I wrote before. What the heck are YOU saying?

Taliesen. Whatever. My point still stands. His group is still after you, and there is possibly a new one in Awakening. Then there's DA2. So it is possible that BioWare will mess with Zevran's story and your Hero's. So having an option to make the next game leave them alone would be a good thing, yes?

That Warden was the hero of Ferelden, I know, because I'm one of them that did just that, so I'd feel fine. They'd get to see a big pile of ashes, since I was burned after the ceremony.

Most likely it would be a statue of some kind. What if it's in the likeness of your Hero? And what about the written history, if there is any? You trust BioWare to get all of it right?

Agreed. In the near future I'll post a thread detailing how to bring the Hero back as each player designed. Thanks for posting.

It's not that hard we already have the races in the main game, all the HOF needs is who was there Li , what background are they from, did they live or die, and are they ruling Ferelden did they follow morrigan stab or whatever Bioware seem to think the HOF needs every choice in Origins ever made to be in that imporant well news flash guys it's not true just do what you did with Hawke

Yeah, people won't feel ripped off by that at all. No, BioWare won't leave it at that. You're going to get a portrait of your Hero. Maybe even a statue! Oh what fun you'll have playing that mandatory level when we visit Weisshaupt and address the problem brought up in Inquisition's epilogue.

That you couldn't care less what Dai Grepher want indicates that you don't care about the Dragon Age series, because it's the fans that make it successful and determine if there will be more of it or not.

Fixed it for you.

It would be great to see the hero of ferelden again. BW already set up a great story with the cure of the taint. But a DLC instead of a whole new game would be preferable IMO.

A DLC that maybe takes place in another country like maybe Andersfels (birthplace of the Grey Wardens). You meet up with the hero and his Mabari in Weisshaupt to search for the cure.

Right. Keep handles most of that for us. And not everything in Keep is shown in Inquisition anyway.

Fixed what for me, your own statement about how you couldn't care less about what other fans want? Now you're saying you just don't care what I want? Or are you implying that my statement about you was because of your disagreement with me? Seriously? YOU wrote that you couldn't care less what other fans want. I addressed that statement of yours. Are you even keeping track of what you wrote?

I would be fine with a DLC, though I hope we would get to control the Hero as a temporary companion, especially in that case. Not sure if our mabari is still alive and combat ready after 10 years though. Maybe.

That last question is hilarious in context with both this thread and the problems with loading saves into DA 2, and the problems that the Keep has had with the same thing. That's kind of been my point all the way through this, hasn't it? That this "simple" thing you want has proven to be quite complicated, coupled with what I know about writing/scripting conversations from NWNs, which is probably far simpler than whatever system they're using now, presumably.

Well, we were having a dialogue about *your* preferences. That's what I was emphasizing here. Your position doesn't indicate what "the fans" want.

OK. I've kinda tuned the OP out at this point. I'm just here for the snark.

You know, I also want the Warden to return. I want to see him in about the same role as Hawke in DAI, but in a different storyline.

For 727 posts, you should have known better than to bring up a "bring the Warden back" thread because that's just setting yourself up for ridicule. That's just the way it is. It's as if this forum is a competition on who gets to be the biggest smart*ss.

It's a shame really. You typed all that, and probably double checked your points, all to have this thread reduce to back and forth replies of snarkiness.

While snark is a staple of the internet anyway, you can pretty much blame both the title and the first lines of the wall of text. And on that note, it must be said that walls of text are seldom rewarded, especially when the lead-in is bad.

Well, I did say seldom :P [/poor save]

But it's like a movie. If it's starring Kevin James it's already too long.

There was a time I wouldn't have minded a return for the Warden.

Now I want the Warden to trip and fall down a staircase and break their neck. Off screen. In a War table mission. That takes 1 minute to complete. And rewards you with elfroot. And can only be completed by Josie.

I don't care to see any of my wardens again in future installments. In fact I would be happy with receiving quests/letters from said Warden with updates and what not, but he does not need to appear physically.

Eh.  Not really.  Having played DAI twice through, I can't say that I felt as if the story was worse off without my Warden character; a voiceless protagonist constructed to allow me to project myself into a game...something that the Inquisitor does in a much better fashion.

You mean where they got their asses lit up on these very forums because "it wasn't my Hawke". Multiply that angst by 10 for the HoF, since you can bet that some of the people carrying on with complaining about Hawke hated DA 2 because it wasn't Origins 2.

All the Hawke hate is absolutely hilarious to me, because my head canon Hawk was absolutely 100% exactly as portrayed. She said all of the exact right things. Hawk in my game was literally perfect. I feel bad for people who don't feel that way, but I want to see my Hawk again if they lived dammit!

As for The Warden, would seeing them again be nice? sure, I would go for it. Do I want The Warden back? i haven't really thought about it in a long while tbh. If Grey Warden stuff comes up again in the future? Yes, I want them to be involved in some fashion. Otherwise I don't care too much aside from giving the ruler of Ferelden an Heir to the throne if they went that route.

People keep stressing the fact that the HoF is dead in some states and thus can't come back. They seem to forget that Bioware, through the Keep, made all the DLC canon. Ergo, even if your Warden is dead, they can just use the Warden-Commander. Change some dialogue, reference Awakening instead of Origins for the most part, and bang, Wardens for everyone.

Except that the Orlesian Warden is not the Hero of Ferelden, just a Suspiciously Similar Substitute. It's pretty clear by now that those who refuse to let the Warden go just wouldn't be satisfied with having just a placeholder Warden appear to take the place of a dead Warden?

Honestly, I'd prefer to see all three potential Orlesian Wardens appear in canon at some point, it'd be nice to see Kader, Caron and Andras show up and confirm that they do exist in a world-state without an Ultimate Sacrifice Warden. What happened to them? Are they still alive or have they gone on their Calling during the last decade? Did they go along with Clarel's plan or did they oppose it? And what happened to them post-Adamant?

I'm far more interesting in knowing about the OW than the HOF, because we never really got much chance to get to know our placeholder in Awakening if you offed the Warden? Aside from having been praised by Celene, we never have any real information about who they are, where they're from and their backstory? (I know it was just a DLC expansion, but some backstory would have been nice!)

For all everyone keeps clamouring about the "important quest" to cure the Calling as being a reason the HOF needs to come back, they seem to ignore that it might never amount to anything and could end up being a glorified snipe hunt at the end of the day?
