First ever venture into Perilous back in the first couple of weeks. We'd been running with a guy that had a couple of Purple Daggers (I forget which) and murderising everything in Threatening and my friend pipes up "Hey can we try Perilous?"
We roll Demons and as the first encounter a Terror pops up under all of us. We die!
That, and "standing close together so that DC can take us all out in one fell swoop." This happened to a PuG I was in before the nerf, I kid you not. Four players at once.
Haha, yes! Thank goodness he doesn't one hit anymore. People still cluster together... ![]()
Everytime I play.
Druffy running over all four players in wave 1, although still hilarious.
Last night, playing for the first time with all strangers, i was brought into an already in-progress match. As I was finding the rest of the party, i saw a mage door, decided to be helpful and open it up...hello mr. revenant!
Did the best I could, then ran outside, where my party had come to join me...the revenant only had eyes for me, but my entire team still ended up dying. Laughing hysterically, because I couldn't believe my stupidity, I managed to keep up the 'barrier, get grabbed, lightning, fade cloak, barrier...etc' pattern for a while before I too entered the fade. I left the party quickly, trying to show the consideration of not forcing those poor folks to kick me. ![]()
If anyone who reads this was part of this unfortunate event, you have my sincere apologies. ![]()
Had a good game going last night. I was an archer, buddy was an assassin. With the help of two good random teammates we had cruised through the first 4 zones. As soon as we got to wave 5 our teammates were nowhere to be found(disconnect)
Before we had the chance to invite them back, an alchemist and a hunter joined up. So, we had 1 of each rogue class. We were both quite puzzled why they chose to join with said classes, but hey this could be fun. We decided to go ahead and start. The battlefield was the eleven ruins map that's wide open with the recessed courtyard in the middle. The assassin was able to follow the train of mobs I was kiting around with leaping shot and evade until all 3 bosses were down. All that remained were three mobs but I'm pretty sure everyone was out of potions and low on health. The intensity was no longer high, we'd done it! But, the unthinkable happened. I took a killing blow arrow from the lone remaining archer, ninja perched next to the door where we entered the zone. I then watched in horror as the alchemist and hunter died simultaneously, to the same bloody archer. My assassin buddy completely choked and missed with a twin fangs on one of the one-handed sword guys he was chasing from behind, in a panic he turns around to retreat and gets shanked in the back by the guy he missed. Yup, good job lone Venatori archer...you were more powerful than your commander, Samson and the DC.
tfw you are certain you have an active Fallback Plan, go carelessly on a rampage, at around 5% health think "Nice try, so long suckers!", press the button and... drop a Fallback Plan.
Haha, yeah. Or when you for some reason cast a Fallback plan when your health is in the red and then use a potion or HoK to regain health. Things get hairy, you pop fallback plan, fall back and... notice that the health you had gained has been depleted. Extra bonus if you have the upgrade to fallback plan and bring an enemy with you ![]()
Seriously, why is it a good idea to bring a pissed-off enemy with you? Couldn't they at least have the good decency to get stunned or something.

Nick as in nickname? I would have if I had the chance...

19 archer
Demon commander at 2% hp!!! About 10 feet away from me!
I use full draw.
Fail
What happened to me(today), i was getting away from Templar Commander with Necro, making fun of him with Fade Step, when he suddenly does a "NBA All Star Jump" to me. Seriously, i have never, ever see him jump this far.
Also, the laugh i had when i returned to the lobby and everyone with their promoted character at lv 1.

I especially enjoy it when I not only lose my health because of things like 1) physics defying arrows (great when I have them...but why give them to the other guys?!) 2) Revenant completes his swing and knocks the bar down to half or worse, but then....then some crafty little invisible ninja somehow manages to grab me as I punch Fallback Plan and recovers before I do, whacking me to death with his sword typically after blocking all twelve arrows from Leaping Shot.
Or when you get set on fire, chain-stunned, and die before Fallback Plan starts to flash. All from full health.
Insults to injuries. XD
Worst fail?
14 years ago. I was 26 and my then girlfriend was 18.
After about 5-6 months dating her mum came into the bedroom and had that 'chat' with us about sex and not getting her pregnant. That is a mostly one sided conversation I will never forget til my dying day.
I just sat there with a big stupid grin on my face. Probably not the best thing to have done at the time on reflection.
