I am playing on the PS3 console.
Ever since this patch came in, I immediately found myself facing several issues that made me stop playing multiplayer online for a month.
The following issues are:
1. Mages ice attacks failed miserbly.
-The winters grasp failed to freeze and sometimes damage the enemy at all.
-Moves like winter's chill, frost step, and blizzard either don't or takes several attempts in order to chill the enemy.
2. The powerful weapons damages (specifically for warriors) got reduced.
-My bro and I found some powerful weapons for our warriors and it was supposed to do an average of 250+ damage per hit, not including runes, but the weapon barely managed a 200 on hit with runes.
3. The enemies can penetrate walls??
-The enemies can walk through iron fences or gates as if it doesn't exist! These gates are not able to be open by us, they are as good as a wall and the enemies are at a whole other distant but they came pouring through. needless to say my team mates and I were annihilated.
This same issue also happened when I froze an enemy and it suddenly popped out the ice as though freeze never happened.
4. Mages damage became weaker.
-I have a powerful staff with an ultra rune equipped 152DPS. At level 10-15, my damages were still pathetic. I noticed a chunk of damage reduced from the first time I played the game compared to that with the patch I have now. With all my equipment and boost, I was able to deal a total of 200 damage per regular hit at level 8-10, but now I need to be around level 16-17 to deal barely 200 damage. My damage is reduced to 50-60 per hit. If I am lucky it deals 90.
Mages are forced to be at a distant but their regular attacks could barely scratch the enemies. Their skills require quite a bit of cooldown but once the enemy piles in before their skills are up, it is game.
5. Lastly my brother was not able to customize his weapon with heal on kill. It kept saying an error has occured.this issue later happened to me as well.
Bioware, this is the most expensive game we have ever bought and all it has been doing one patch after every other promising patch, was disappoint us... >=(
