I doubt this will ever happen.

Assuming you are playing on PC, you can use CheatEngine for that.

No key, but there is a way using the in-game console.  You don't need CheatEngine for it.  Open up the console window using the Tilda key, then type this in.

UI.drawEnable 0

That will shut off the UI.

UI.drawEnable 1

That will turn the UI back on.

^I do that, and I still find it a hassle. I know how to do it really fast too (like the whole pressing upkey and just changing the 0 to 1, vice versa) but you've got to type it up upon opening the game and it getsbothersome if I'm trying to have a photoshoot in combat (good thing I'm an unkillable knight-enchanter). Setting up Cheat Engine every time I open DA:I is also bothersome.

I sound whiny but it's because I've been spoiled - I looove how in Guild Wars 2 there's a hotkey for hiding UI. Seriously, it saves ridiculous amounts of time and effort over the course of a playthrough, and smooths gameplay in general for screenshotaholics

Well, you could use the 'DAI Cinematic Tools' for picture taking, since it also has an option to hide the UI (Delete -key). I have the program always on the background when playing.

I've considered that.  Is there a frame rate hit?

No, not that I've noticed. It's so easy and the flycam is something I'm constantly using. I have never had any problems with the DCT and after I told my friend about it, she's using it constantly now, as well. You can get amazing pics with it. :)

I'll bare that in mind when I go back to the game.  I'm in the middle of ME3 and also trying to play catch up on my screenshot LP I have going in the "What did you do..." thread in the ME3 forums.   Thanks for the heads up.   :)

And now want to play ME3 again. :D

Oh, one warning... when the DCT mode is activated (Insert -key), pressing the Quick load -button can mess up the screen. It won't do any harm to the game or saves but you do have to fully close and open the game again to get it to look okay again. Happened to my sister.

I appreciate the warning, very much.

The thread I hit up in the ME3 forums is really fun.  No drama, no bickering.  There's a lot of class building tips in there, as well as modding tips.  If you want a laid back thread there, try that one.  They made me feel very welcome when I first got into the ME series last spring, and they made being a new ME fan a blast.

For DA:I, most of the same people in there are also in the "What did you do today?" thread in Story and Lore.  I'd recommend them as fans of the games that love to share screenshots and stories.   It's a nice break from a lot of the negativity that can float around here.  :)

Good to know, thank you. The last time I was in the ME3 forum, the ending depate "battle" started to get so heated, that is was better to evacuate asap. I think I might actually stop by there. It's been along time. ^_^

There is still plenty of debate about the endings in other threads, but it is much less heated.  Folks aren't as likely to take a difference in opinion as a personal attack these days.  In the thread I mentioned, no one debates about the endings that I've seen.  It's more about having fun with the journey and taking vids/screenshots along the way.   :)
