This is a feedback & suggestion to the person who designed horse riding animation in da: inquisition to change the awful mount riding animation and other issues with them ,although other bioware developers who have the authority to make this person to fix this kind of problems are welcome to read this post.

first : i'm not that kind of persons that love to comments and share their opinions in the forums and tell the devs how they love or hate their games and i just create origin account only to post this bizarre problem and give some suggestions and show them how much i and other peoples out there hate this kind of animations and other problems with mounts.

Mounts in this game are a necessary thing because of wide & rich map design but because of some problems with mounts in efficiency not effectiveness of their design there are a lot of peoples that do not use them in game or at least they are forced to use them against their will.and this problems are:

1.The Animation of Mounts:
just look at the "Red dead Redemption" horse riding's animation and then compare it with mounts animation in "DA: Inquisition" then tell me which one is better in presenting riding a horse and induction of the feelings. i bet you say Rockstar game. now you see what i mean? in inquisition the pacing between mounts walking animation and the amount of distance mounts travel are not SYNC. it feels like the mounts are sliding on the flat ground and i can't tell you how much i hate feeling something like that in a videogame. i searched the net about this and found there are a lot out there that feels the same ( in the end of this post you can find the links to others opinions about this matter. )

2.The Animation of characters on the mounts:
again look at the RDR and Compare it with inquisition. characters on the mounts in inquisition are steady as it seems they're sitting on some chairs doing meditation, WTF?! they are riding mounts in the jungles and hills and instead of stationary state on the mounts they must react to the speed of the mounts ( and that's another problem that we discuss about ) and have some up and down animations.even their legs must hit the mounts to sides to gain speed when players push the L3 button but it seems they have a good relationship with animals and they don't want to hurt them.

3.The Dwarves and Mounts:
i was watching the hobbit 1 last night in one of the sequences Gondolf the grey tells Baggins that his grand grand father was tall enough that he can even ride horses ( instead of pigs) but i think in Dragon Age Universe even Dwarves can ride mounts but with a little problem that their legs not reaching pedestals so they made some shorter pedestals for themselves.i can only say that when you see a dwarves riding a mount make you feel bad because of their legs dragged in a bad shape from sides of the mounts.

4.The Speed of the mounts:
i think there is no difference in great amount between walking with characters feet and riding a mount, again WTF DEVS?! i thought to myself that perhaps the maps are not enough big so mounts have a much more speed then perhaps if there was no mounts at all it was better.

5.Different Between Mounts:
I'm one hundred percent Sure that there is no difference of speed and stamina and other factors between different mounts even this factors do not exist in design of mounts again %100 Sure!!!.only different is mounts races and shapes and colors of skins.to dear bioware developers we are in 8th generation of video games and these factors are very important nowadays even in previous generations.

6.other problems with mounts :
we can's search the nearby for items when we riding mounts and players must get down from the mounts and search and collect things and again mount the mounts that this is very frustrating for some peoples and me.

in the end:
Bioware this problems are the CORE Design of a game not the bugs or Glitches, even if you do not think about these as problems think them as bad Design that needs your attentions. me and other peoples (that you can see for yourself in the links in the end) wants these changes and fixes in the next patches.(for all versions even the old gen versions cause im playing on X360 )
dragon age inquisition is a very good game but for me these mounts problems make me feel sick about the game and i hope you read all of these post and talk about it between each others and just think these as problems and try to fix it soon before me and others finished the game.

my thanks to you if you pays attention to this feedback.

You have a good point as in general animation and behaviors are below standards, on the other hand, barring some "my little pony fetish" the load bearing animals (horses) are unnecessary in DAI.  I would also add that the characters in the example that you provided are more life-like and less cartoonish than in DAI for the most part.  What is the point of creating a life-like living world if the characters in it don't appear to belong? Its a question of quality.

Your xbox 360 example demonstrates several DAI core programming deficiencies, well done! B)

DAI should run on all platforms and not crash, stall or cause some other problems.

it was just an example, even you are agree about the bad animation and im think da inquisition is more realism in graphic and animation than cartoony. the speed and animation plus difference between mounts are more concern to me than other problems here.
