See, that's where you are making your mistake. You do not use guns for that. They have other purposes, but not that.
The best possible result you will get if you use a gun for that purpose are some strange looks from the EMT's.

More serious: obviously people can still kill other people without guns. But guns are what makes one-sided slaughter very easy, which is what you see when one maniac starts shooting in a public space like a school or a mall.

I don't have a problem with that line of thinking and as shown i own guns. I do think there is no reason at all for certain types of guns and I would have no problem if some types were outlawed tomorrow. Won't happen though.

I also like the M1 Carbine. Don't know why, but it's always been appealing to me.
Though it'd be a pipe dream to ever get my hands on one.

You could always dress up a 10/22 for a fairly reasonable price.
A 1911 is on my list too, but it'll likely be one of those plain jane Rock Island ones.
