compare the number of people killed by firearms in germany with the number in the usa. (hint: also in germany we have criminals who have guns)
i also cant remember to have ever read in the newspaper that a little child accidentally shot someone in germany. seems to happen "sometimes" in the usa though.
but its useless to argue with americans against guns. who knows, maybe if i would do it face-to-face i would even get shot?
have fun with your guns and dont complain if you should ever get shot.
If a kid gets shot, it's usually because the gun wasn't secured properly. That's not the gun's fault, it's the fault of the gun owner as an individual.
And as I said, the vast majority of gun related deaths, something like two thirds, are suicides. If someone wants to kill themselves, there are any number of methods to do so. They don't need a gun to do it. That's part of the reason we need to strengthen the mental health system.
The last time I checked, Germany didn't have anywhere near the same trouble with gangs that the U.S. does. Nor does it have to worry about the cartels on its southern border. And Germany is much, much smaller than the U.S., and thus far easier to police.
