You're very obviously parroting what the media has told you to believe on the subject at hand without actually considering and creating your own opinion.
oh, really? the only thing that "the media" tells me frequently is that much more people are killed by guns in the usa than in germany or other countrys with stricter weapon laws.
serious question: do you have less burglaries in the usa because more people have guns? is it statistically safer because more people have guns? and, most important: when people in other countrys can live their lifes perfectly without guns, why do you need them?
in my opinion it is definiteley wrong to sell guns in the super market like, for example, bananas (this is what i know). and btw also in germany you can own guns (currently there are about 5,5 million registered guns), but with certain requirements to comply. imo the better way. and unlike in the usa you cant buy assault rifles in germany, they are treated as war weapons and are banned from privat property by the war weapons control act. again, imo, the better way.
and i just cant understand how some people can say things like "this wouldnt have happened when the teachers have had guns" or "we need more guns at public facilities" after amok runs. this is just ridiculous imo.
how ironic that german manufacturers produce some of the most used/most popular weapons in the world... i think everyone knows the HK MP5 or the Leopard2 tank...
