I've been playing multiplayer quite a lot and have noticed a number of things which really affect gameplay, some more than others. I'll list them in no particular order and ask if anyone else has noticed these same things. Note, I'm on ps4.
1. Failing to connect to a game kicks you all the way back to the main menu - the annoyance here is how often this happens and then how long it takes to get all the way back into search for game (including the loading time on the main menu).
2. Constant crashes
3. There's no way to salvage all (for example common) gear in one go, so salvaging takes ages. This is made more annoying by the fact that after a while, none of the crafting materials are any use whatsoever (see 4)
4. The loot system is close to terrible. A) getting uniques is absurdly rare especially since when you do itas usually a lvl 11. I'm not saying loot should be free, but perhaps offer the opportunity to craft uniques so that the crafting materials have a use and/or frequent players have something they can work towards. And
5. When running into battle there's a lag on spells, particularly ground based. On (for example) an arcane warrior, without being in combat, run forwards and press the pull of the abyss button followed immediately by the x button, it casts. Try the same as you run into combat and it doesn't. This delay often results in my character jumping instead of casting which brings me to 6.
6. After jumping, there's a delay before abilities become active. You can actually see the spell buttons flash as they become active. It's not as you land, it's a split second after meaning you have to wait before you can cast. This combined with 5 makes gameplay a little slow and clunky. Basic attack suffers a similar problem with the animation time, but it's not as irritating.
7. After somebody resurrects you, you can't move or use abilities for a couple of seconds. Meaning you often just get killed again immediately before you were able to do anything at all.
8. Targetting ground spells can be agony. Try targeting a spell bedsides (not on) some steps, to target on the steps you then have to move the spell target like it were a person, running it to the bottom of the steps and up. Considering how slow it is to target anyway, this is crazy. Why does the spell cast have what appears to be collision detection on? Is it just modelled as a character? Either way, it's annoying.
9. The dog/wolf type creatures have the worst AI I've ever seen. Their pathing some times just runs them into walls or across the map for no reason.
I'm sure there's others which I've noticed, I'll add them on as I remember. None of these issues are game breakers (except the crashing) but they add a large amount of frustration to the game especially if you play often.
