Why would you when you can use a GI+Claymore?
Lmao
Why would you when you can use a GI+Claymore?
LOL at being annoyed at every kit and situation and circumstance in the game therefore I will only use things that dont annoy me, aka boring
Annoy is the wrong word. OP is the correct keyword. ie. Folks not liking Snap Freeze because it is extremely OP and broken.
For an annoy example; someone else's Flamer sound glitching due to lag (so it won't happen to you if your host with a lobby full of Flamers) to always sound like your the Flamer user even if he's across the map. Others even don't like constant Snap Freeze detonation sound fx and go to avoid Snap Freeze lobbies, and so on. Whatever, everyone is entitled to their choices.
And too easy is boring. I'm sorry. But I don't like modern gaming trends where everything has to be stupid easy with enough hold handing to make one puke. I grinded my gaming teeth on the NES, I even still enjoy to 1 coin credit my fave classic videogames. So I'm not scared of a little challenge. Challenges and overcoming them make the world go round. (And no, not stupid PSN/XBOX challenge points, lol. Those need a name change to something like "List of boring stupid easy things anyone can do."
).
Now having said all this, it doesn't mean I'm going to be dropping every lobby I see that don't suit my needs perfectly. Today I've had games with 2 Flamer Geth & Paladin in one lobby. But because they were still super pugs, I knew these guys needed all the help then could get, so I had no issue with it (and I was host, so no glitched Flamer sound). In fact, that game was my highlight game of the day. I was running an Avenger no Nade KroSent with Incindiary Ammo. Everyone's score very close to each other too. Bosses felt like bosses, etc. What a great matchup.
I don't ban anything in solos. I am fully content to get my 10 extractions challenge points with ample servings of snap cheese and arc grenades and all that.
But I don't use the Talon Merc, TGI or AIU in pugs. Ever. GI is a rarity who I'll only use when I am absolutely certain that a pug is going to suck and I need to carry them.
You talking Platinum pugs or Gold pugs?

If I am certain that a PUG is going to suck, then I will leave the lobby and look for something better. Carry them? Perish the thought.
You don't have to carry most pugs from my experience (ie. remember, I don't like clutching/playing by myself). You just kinda have to act like a babysitter or team leader of the group. But not with pure dps. Instead go for more tanky kits like Krogan if you lack confidence. Or better yet, Volus Merc, Volus Merc is the complete team leader package + most relaxing kit to play in any pug match outside of the Jug.
I don't ban anything.
I just sit, and silently judge them based on choice of kit, class and loadout.
I forgot the most important part of this: to, no matter what, feel smugly superior throughout the entire process.
