The more they show of this film the worse it looks. I think the Terminator series is close to being on par with Batman during the Schumacher years. Even the TV show had higher production values than this movie.

I am personally more disappointed in the trailers, and I can only assume the actual film as well, lack of understanding concerning the core themes that made the first two films and the TV show interesting to me.

 

 

It's no longer a question about the technological singularity, technology outpacing humanity, or even the differing perspectives of human and machine intelligences. All I see is the equivalent of human sized transformers throwing each other around and lots of pew, pew and/or explosions.

Its PG-13 too. They did that with the last Terminator movie, and that one stunk because of it. This one might very well be even dumber. Terminator + Full House = Terminator Genisys.
