Keywords are what you enjoy most with most setups. And what's very enjoyable and very replayable.

 

To me, Earth maps Rio & London I just never seem to get any enjoyment out of. Even after all this time playing. My most boring games take place on either Rio or London. While maps like Condor and Goddess I find infinitely replayable and with so much variety.

 

Maps that are too large are generally not liked by me (doesn't mean I'm crazy for too small either). So how Condor pulls this off as a fave of mine, guess goes to how well it's designed. Goddess I wasn't too crazy over at first, but man, now I can't believe how good it is.

 

Hydra I sometimes don't like either. Vancouver I almost want to hate too sometimes. While Jade is Jade.

 

So overall to me, Earth DLC maps are quite a let down.

Then Jade's probably my favorite overall. Jade turns into a bloodbath with the right conditions. Even a good team can wipe on a platinum wave 10 if they don't prioritize the objectives correctly.

 

The worst is Rio because it's a laggy map and it's a paradise for campers and grenade spammers.

Hazard maps are DLC maps. I don't really think another thread is nessessary for non-dlc maps. Your going to get pretty much the same replies anyways.

I honestly never thought folks would consider Hazard maps as actual new maps. Oh well. This topic now officially sucks because I didn't make it clear enough in the title. I'll start again tomorrow morning with a new title making things clear this time. Now someone lock this thread already.

DLC maps are, obviously, maps that were included in post-release downloadable content. Hazard maps, while they are still technically vanilla maps, fall under this criteria because you cannot play them without an optional download.

Worst: Jade

Best: all the others. Condor and Goddess are the most beautiful, but at the same time Goddess is the most boring because it's played absolutely the same way every time - everyone hold the top room.

Worst: Maps with Phantoms and Turrets.

All the maps are fun. They all look great. They might not be ideal for every single kit.

Best: White (Not the Hazard variant)

The Rest are ok. Overall the vanila maps are (maybe not by much, but sill) better than any DLC map, except the needed changes to White. It's a far better map now.

Vanilla Dagger is one of my favorites especially for sniping but Hazard Dagger is the worst looking map with horrible visibility which eliminates everything that I like about the map and turns it into the least fun map in the game.

Dagger Hazard makes sniping challenging, but far from impossible, IMO.

I still play Dagger Hazard just fine but all I am thinking is I would have been having more fun on any other map. I just don't like the ugly color scheme and the buggy as hell ammo boxes and the camouflaged Scions, Geth Primes and Ravagers Sniping of the team from anywhere on the map.
