What I've read online tells me no but I still get the option to flirt with Isabela even after I sleep with Merrill.

I can't actually decide, I chose Isabela because I feel she's more mature and ready for a relationship and Merrill's more of a sister but ideally I like the idea of all 3 supporting each other in a relationship since they're so secure. It seems like both of them would be happy with that too, but the game handles it in a weird bugged way.

So using console commands, can I do both? I don't mind if Merrill's ends up being incomplete, I can always look up the ending on Youtube, but I definitely want to keep with Isabela all the way since I'm really interested in how she develops. 

When I open up the console I notice I get options for setting Romance as "Active" and "Committed". At what point does which happen?

In Merrill's case, you become "locked in"/committed if you let her move in when she comes round your house near the end of Act 2. Her outfit will also change, quite noticeably.

You can have multiple romances "active", but once one is locked in all the other romances are set to disappear. I think there may still be some flirt options, but critical ones are removed.

I don't know if you can work around that with console commands, or if the game will get a bit buggy from having two active.

I turned on Isabela's flag, but Merrill came to comfort me after All that Remains. 

Which might actually be for the best, but I'm curious how the game decides between the two.

COnsole doesn't seem to let me switch romances. anyone know how to pul lit off?

I'm really bummed out over this. I wanted to do the Isabella romance. Nowhere near enough patience to start the game over.

I fear you are stuck with Merrill. If even the console doesn't let you clear her romance flags, you'll have no choice but to replay (part of) Act 2 .

I'd feel bad as an in-game Hawk if I romanced Isabella after Merrill. Izzy looks over Merrill as older sister guiding her little sister. "kitten", Izzy calls her.

While Isabella is bad-ass, and I'd want to date her, I wouldn't want to do it after seeing Merrill. Maybe a new game is in order if you don't have an older save.

Yeah... maybe i should stick with Merrill. I really love her. I just wanted to see Isabela believe in love again, and we have such great chemistry... I just get the feeling I really treated her like **** now. 

Does she hook up with Fenris now?

Played with just about every combination I could and there seems to be no way to do it. There must be something I'm missing, though. 

I'm sort of just frustratedly curious as to how these things are coded and want to break it out of a matter of principle.
