Altho its not perfect and has a few flaws, i have to say this game is the one i had the most fun and invested the most time in my whole gaming career.
I'm 38 so i would have plenty to choose from.
I have never been into online games (altho now the trend is to incorporate both the single player experience with the online one: think of watch dogs or AC:Unity for exemple) so i am really glad some companies understand that and still put in the efforts to brings us lenghty games like this.
I won't go on forever and hope this thread don't turn into a flame fest.
Thank you Bioware.

I don't always post, but when I do, I hate.
So without further ado, I hate Bioware, I hate Dragon Age and I hate fan-dumb.
Sincerly, a 38 year old fan, who also had plenty to choose from.

OP, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and think you're genuine 'cause I've checked your posts, though, if you've played 200+ hrs, why you only have the keep icon displayed under your avatar? I'm just asking out of curiosity...

Looks like you've played Mario games for last 20 years at least, friend.
Don't get me wrong - I'm happy that someone actually likes the BS DA:I is atm. I really am. It's your choice and your tastes, and you certainly have a right to say so. It's just 'how far we've fallen?' question bothers me on entering threads like this.

Sure, some people really love the game and can find little fault with it. And that's OK, they're happy. Good!
BUT to start a thread ON A SOCIAL NETWORK FORUM and tell people that essentially, their opinions are not valid unless they agree with you, is a jerk move to say the least.
AND perhaps you are posting your praise for the game in the wrong place if you are afraid of attracting people with their own opinions.
A better suited place to post for you, would be twitter or facebook. There, they flat out delete any negative comment and on twitter they just reply to butt kissing.
But thanks anyway.

My post is not sarcastic or a joke. I simply didnt change my avatar because i didnt bother and i rarely come on forums anymore and if you look at some of the replies that is exactly why.
Yes i have had a lot of better game that i played since i was young. A few of my all time best are The last of us, FFII, FFXII, Morrowind...
But the idea behing my post is the combination of enjoyment and most time spent on a game and in recent years i have to say this was the game for me.

No, I would much rather be unproductive. Buddy.
You really think people like me would be wasting time here if we hated Dragon Age? The opposite is true.

Just finished the game tonight 200+ hours in.

I just wanted to let you know that I feel the same way. The ME serie is the one I've invested the majority of my gaming time and which I love the most but otherwise I'm in the same boat. Does DAI have flaws? Yes. Could be way better? Heck, yeah. There's a huge amount of improvements I could list for BW. Still, that doesn't stop me from enjoying it and playing it; I wouldn't have 1357 hours under my belt if I didn't like it. And if someone has problems with that... I really don't care or let it affect me in any way. Just enjoy the game; I surely am.

Didnt know i couldnt use certain words at my age.
I think or hope you just replied with a bit a humour without any mean intentions.
Is it me or forums are even more of a troll fest and full of pathetic losers flaming away like idots cuz they feel bad about themselves then say 10 years ago?
I was fed up back then so imagine now lolllll Good thing i have two jobs a GF two step daughter and games to play so i dont have to spent time on here.
With that being said. I'll let this thread die out and forget about it.
Happy gaming all. Cheers

Let's just say, that people who ARE 38 years old don't usually go onto video game forums to say 'hey, I'm 38 years old and I think this game is great, no hating thou'.
See what I did there?

I'm glad you liked the game. I feel similarly, and am hoping they continue to improve their craft. I'm hoping most of the flaws present came from an experimental point of view with a new engine. With any luck, a lot of what's not perfect will improve as they gain better understanding of the tools they work with. I've got about 200+ hours with 3 characters, and I'm pleased with how many new things I've come across in the subsequent playthroughs (and I tend to play fairly completionist, so it's a pleasant surprise).
I will admit, though, the title does kind of make the contrary nature in all of us come out
so it can't be too much of a surprise when people come a-knocking with differing thoughts.

Well, youngster
- I would suggest that your gaming resume needs an update as to how the development of behaviors, emotional states and other more human attributes are simulated in gaming.
Opinions vary regardless of even knowledge that DAI is an incomplete product plagued with issues -even modder's can't agree! Perhaps the biggest improvement DAI offers to many is simply the value of rainwater behavior and it is superior to many games. The way surface textures can be displayed is definitely a move forward. How do you balance something so valuable to immersion gaming even with glaring errors? (Yes, in plain sight if you know what you are looking and listening for.) We also processes information at different rates over the various issues and that is no reason to hate, but plenty of reasons to wait!
Personally, I spent most of my time in DAI hunting down errors -helping people I didn't know. Often they were so irritated that they had difficulty communicating the issue, but a calm mind can solve most problems and we usually did/do. This has caused a jaded view at times -depends on how hard the duplication was and what we found. Just worked a com input issue with a person where his NPC was stopping at intervals for several seconds at a time and he put up video to demonstrate the behavior -If you run into this doozie it can be very frustrating. You could play the entire game and never see it and then hit it on several saves ->random activation, but its understood by at least a few of us.
In closing, hate should never be triggered by simply disagreement over opinions -not much hope for the species with that narrow definition! I have friends all over the world and we can easily disagree at times, but we don't hate one another and it's more interesting to understand the opinions and their basis. That's probably why there are so many degrees of disappointment and joy -leads to a colorful life building vision and a struggle to find common ground.

Frostbite was made for BF and they haven't figured it out yet
If BW wants to keep using frostbite engine they will be experimenting for a while, graphics are only one part of a game and not the most important imo but a lot of people like eye candy over story(don't know why?)
Unfortunately that's how DAI turned out
