I understand there is only a certain number of saves you can have in the game...25 I think. Is there a limit to the number of characters we can create?

For my ps3, I can have 30.
When starting a new game, a minimum of 4 emply save slots are needed, at least when I started a new game. So for me I could have up to 27 different characters with 26 having one save each and number 27 with 4 saves. I would not be able to have 28 since I wouldn't have enough empty save slots

On the PC it is a total of 250 across all playthroughs.

I read that you're only allowed 25 saves across all games on PC but that's wrong because I made 5 characters, each have more than 5 saves (autos, milestones, and quicksaves) so I'd trust Quick's word on this haha.

250 saves for PC, 50 saves for ex-Box/PS (PS patched apparently).
