In three instances one of our number (RJS) has made improvements to a set of placeables. I am currently working to Update 6 and I am wondering if I should create two sections for the improved content. For instance the cliff set as a basic set and RJS's tintable update on two entries, or just the updates on the existing 2da locations.

Is anyone going to use the old content if there is better available? Would a credit to the original author be enough?

What are your thoughts. Since the pool of users and creators is dwindleing I am wondering if this matters. I am tending to think it does.

Well my put would be just to use the new versions, but obviously I'm a little biased. However, I could see where just substituting the new content could potentially cause slight issues with door placement, such as with Heed's boardable ships and some of Racer Blue's ruins set. In the former, I added doors to some of the models, while in the latter I fixed problems with poor door hook placement.

As far as tinting goes, I would just use the new content, though for some users it might cause problems if they had previously used a non-tintable version of a placeable, since the non-tintable ones are often set to fully black.
