It's now a known fact that a PC well below minimum is SUPPOSED to be unable to interact, because the video card is simply unable to do what the game's mechanics require!
The developers used a feedback mechanism as a way to communicate back and forth with the space bar and mouse pointer that fails when the frame rate is low, and the feedback isn't performed in a timely manner. This effectively eliminates any Low End buffer zone that has allowed some gamers to ignore other games' System Requirements.
