If by platinum version you mean the Ultimate edition, that contains all the purchasable DlCs.
If by platinum version you mean this:
that is simply the regular version.

Platinum games are just the same game but horrible case, publishers release them when a game has done well and the platinum is released at a cheaper price on release.
If you want more content for free then get the Ultimate Edition.
