The only way to fix it would of been to remove rockets entirely. Would of also eliminated rocket glitching. And it would of also made the game a heck of a lot better in the process too.

and this is why I use setups that are cheesy. out cheesing the cheese.
The only thing that sucks about not bringing Armoured Compartments is when everyone dies to Banshee grabs, leaving you to clutch an entire wave. But when I do bring it, situations that make me use rockets more arise... it's just a no win situation. Might as let just embrace the warm stab of a Banshee hug too. ![]()
Also, wouldn't it be cool it rocketing away all your rockets at the start of each game became a trend. Would really change the way games are played. But alas, no way this would catch on...

Things aren't that bad with nuke spawning. I barely see them. Plus most know it's a bad thing (at least here on BSN). Was more thinking with rocketing target objective and to a lesser extent the other objectives. We're all way to programmed to just rocket without a second thought. And just saying we should put some thought into it.

When I am playing with pugs I really don't trust them to stay alive long enough to kill the targets conventionally so yes I will use my rockets then. Frankly I believe that how a person uses their rockets is their own business they spend their credits on the pack so they should decide when and where they want to use them.
Beginning of the game fireworks is not a new thing. When u have as many hours as I do u run out of fucks to give and rockets to use in game.

You are looking at this from your point of view only. Not everyone has xxxx hours in this game and a maxed manifest with equipment out there a$$. So when a sync kill unit comes in the hack circle and someone nukes it, it`s probably cos they don`t really know how to deal with it, or want to take the pressure off for the team, or wants to secure his/her much needed credits. If they nuke a bashsee on the other side of the map, they could be complete idiots, but most likely they have no idea how the mechanics of spawns etc. work, and think they are helping the team somehow. Good intentions and all that.
I would rather have players that nuke spawns, targets or just random alfa units in a wave, then a 30+ min game. Cos they just run away from anything that`s not a husk, or just die to harder units. Leaving 1 player to take care of most of the wave, every wave. I want to do a match fast, smooth and effective, get on to the next map/faction/class and do it over again.
I understand your point of view, but if you need a bigger challange, solo every now and then. The suggestion to take nukes out of the game, is extreme to the point of the absurde, and would ruin the game for 99% of the players, maybe even more.
And why is spawn nuking bad? did some poor tryhard get his epeen cut off by a spawn nuker once, started a whiny thread, and it caught on with other whiny tryhards? Or is there a real ingame reason?

Even when I play with pugs and forsee that if I don't change the target fast enough, pugs may not see payday, well... I change targets. I'm just saying if I don't see a need for & I can still get the pugs to payday, why not prolong the pew pew shooting action?

I don't mind nuking. Certain things demand to be nuked, be it anything from the list above, pugs or friends that have an unhealthy relationship with the floor or that last nemesis that is trying to reject my advances. ![]()
I will say that co-ordinated spawn nuking for credits is pretty lame tbh and I'd rather just play the damn game. I'm not gonna lie, if I think we're going for a fast time, I may spawn nuke once or twice to see how fast we can go, but other than that, nukes are just the game's "oh shit" button.

Heh. For someone that can't enjoy the game unless you gimp yourself, why do you even bother playing any more? There must be something out there that can fill that need to be so awesome and still use all the goodies the game has to offer.
