Got a question for people who care to finish games faster (and use nukes to that effect):
Why? What's the rush? If you enjoy the game, why so eager to end it? I'm not talking solos, which may last an hour or more; in a team, you might win or lose something like 5 minutes in a 20-25 minute match. How does that make any difference?
The rush is that faster games are better games. You get more for less time, effectively, so why wouldn't you do that? 3-8 minutes is a huge deal.

If a 4 person squad Gold Game take's longer than 25 minutes..I consider that a failure...and I tend to leave the lobby right after extraction...

It can't be that hard to understand that some don't agree with faster being better, can it?
It's not "hard" to understand, I just refuse to understand it. If you don't want a faster game, get out of my lobby, I will solo and be better for it.
Yep. Soloing is the issue. Wish it was never possible. And wish in the next ME game we can make this an option.
^^^ Agreed. the fore-mentioned person loves using a level 2 character with a shuriken (Because every other gun is way 2 OP for Gold) and LOVES using... No gear/ No mods/No equipment/No consumables because Gold is way 2 easy for them (It is like they are a Sinful Force) of some kind... and they like to make the match take as long as possible for the Love of the Game.....

You would have to make it objective based not difficulty based which would be ****** stupid either way. Some players are so good that you just cannot prevent them from soloing with difficulty, if you did make it difficult enough that some rare few couldn't solo then the difficulty would be so high that most people would quit the game from frustration.
This is what missiles are for:

Perfect case study of what happens when you don't immediately nuke Primes on sight. Those missiles are gone either way, may as well do it preemptively
So you guys wouldn't think it would be nice for the next ME game to have on option of playing a harder difficulty per each difficulty or with more restrictions (less player dps, no rockets, and/or something)? I think it would be a nice feature, and folks can then choose in-game instead of having these discussions here. As long as it's optional, I don't see much issue in it, since everyone wins this way. Plus opinions always change.

I changed literally three words and this is now pretty much indistinguishable from Morrigan's party banter in Dragon Age.
That's how salty this post is.

It wouldn't be a bad thing but there's a point where the devs have to consider options most likely to appeal to a wide range of players. Not to mention how much time & money they can sink into pursuing that agenda. Somewhere they draw the line; we have to deal with it. It isn't perfect and never will be.
A hardcore mode, no nukes, gels or ops. That would make everyone happy, and this thread and many others redundant. I feel the love and unicorns allready.
Bioware pls, hardcore mode for next MEMP.

less player DPS vs higher enemy hitpoints (how the difficulty is scaled in this game) basically accomplish the same thing. No rockets is something you can already do, unless your real problem is other people using rockets, in which case you could always find some others who share your disposition, or solo.
The Cobra absolutely can break the game if used properly by a full team, but TBH I find that to be extemely rare in pugs. They usually just toss them at lone, half dead banshees or on w11 in an attempt to "beat" my score, so it doesn't really affect my experience.
I've always maintained, the best thing to do, would be to have Cobras do damage to teammates and yourself (as well as the enemy).
That one change would affect the way 90% of BSN plays, including myself.

I don't agree. That would make them less useful for emergencies, but do nothing to nerf spawn nuking
Although If I didn't need an Abomb to TK my pugs.....

I wonder if certain elements might not use that in ways not intended...paging Clyde and Rusty....

One thing they could've done is made the Cobra do is that firing it has so much recoil that it ragdolls your character, doing no damage but keeping you out of the fight for a few seconds. You want to race into a spawn and nuke it? Enjoy your flight.
