EA like money. If enough people ask for a remastered trilogy, then it is possible it could happen.

However I don't think the forum is the correct place to get EA to take notice though. Bioware ignore what goes on here for the most part, so their bosses at EA probably don't even realise the place exists.

It's probably the only remaster I really want. They keep pushing out remasters of games that nobody even asked for, or they just don't make sense (why re-release only God of War 3 and not the other games in the series with it?). People are actually asking for this quite loudly and for whatever reason, it's not in the cards right now.

 

I'd buy it if it had all DLC on disc and the story DLCs became available to you at times that made sense (ie. you can play ME2's Arrival DLC near the start of the game, but it's obvious that it should be played post-game). And if they just tweaked the ending ever so slightly, that'd be cool. Even just having a slightly longer montage with some kind of text that explains what happened to each character (like they do in Dragon Age) would please me.

While I realize most people want this for new-gen consoles, as a PC player my main desire is to see a bit of an update, primarily of the graphics and primarily of ME1.  Two or three times now I have tried to complete a playthrough of the entire trilogy from start to finish, but something in my life and/or computer always seems to be blowing up.  And I've had to start from scratch each time.

Have you tried the High Resolution Texture mod for the game? http://www.nexusmods...effect/mods/1/?

Really does make a massive difference.

I would be so freaking happy if I could purchase the Mass Effect Trilogy [Remastered] for my Xbox One. I don't see it happening though, so I can only hope that ME2 and ME3 get added to the Xbox's backwards compatibility program.

For pity's sake, EA. People are STILL asking for this. They are STILL saying they want this. They are STILL telling you that they will pay for the chance to play this great trilogy on modern hardware.

 

And I'm right there with them. There absolutely is a demand for this. Do the sensible thing and meet that demand and make us all happy.

Yes, definitely yes... would pay for it again if it were remastered.  Failing that, at least make ME2 and ME3 backward compatible on the Xbox One.

This thread is nearly 11 months old and we don't have anyone from Bioware come in and dash all our dreams. You think if it's truly not happening that Bioware would be towing the company line and be in here saying it's not happening and locking the thread. They were teasing on the possibility of it happening but after E3 only silence.
