I'll be honest - I already have a lot of the benefits thanks to PC   
But for those who aren't as lucky - and also for proper controller support on PC - I support a remastered ME trilogy. I'd buy it.

For reference, there is no controller support on the PC in any ME game. Utilities like Xpadder let us emulate a keyboard with a controller, which is better than nothing and kind of playable, but proper controller support is so much better. DAI (and many other games) demonstrate it's possible, and probably not too hard.

They have 18-21 months until ME:A is released. Xbox released ME1 for backwards compatibility.  Waiting on ME2-3 to be released for Xbox 1 backwards compatibility.  

 

I do think there will be a 10 year anniversary edition.  It will release N7, 2017.. Which is a tuesday.

Oh my gosh a remastered ME trilogy are you kidding me? My dreams come true. I hope they also put directx 11 (12) support.

maybe with some grain of extras who knows a new mako, extra sidequests, new armor weapon dlc as bonus, more customization for creating shepard.

Oh my gosh still can't believe that.

 

Please BioWare please just do a remastered version of the trilogy I would be so much happy.

If all DLC is included including collector's edition content then Yes.

I would buy it if this is the case.

 

I tried to do a brand new play through of the entire series a couple weeks back on PC, but I just couldn't do it without the DLC and I really really really ultra really don't want to drop $100+ on DLC for a relatively aged series.  Especially considering I have already purchased every single piece of that DLC at full price in the past for Xbox 360.

If ME1's shooting mechanics are re-tooled to not be so janky, 100% yes. If not, 80% yes.

I would love this, but I fear the worst. At E3 they said it was not something for right now (or something like that).

 

Maybe just before ME4, or next summer, but you should not hold your breath.

There are plenty of things EA won't comment on, which are probably no.

So when they say 'probably no', take that as a solid 'no'.

Even Gears of Wars is getting its trilogy remastered, and I know Bioware does not care to remake the Trilogy right now since they should be busy hard working on Andromeda; dont worry Bioware, take your time rushed games suck anyway XS.

But I really hope in the future they make the Trilogy gloriously remastered and updated. Specially ME1. Remastering old or first games, always makes it tastier XD.

I would absolutely love this. If there was a way to transfer me3 gameplay to 1 and 2 or even 2 to 1 that would make it even better. I'm going through mass effect withdrawals.

ME1 definitely needs it the most graphically, but more so just to have the trilogy on PS4 would be great!

Yeah having it on ps4 would be excellent since I'm going to be playing through the trilogy again soon in anticipation for Andromeda.

Why would you want that xbox one has  backwards compatibility and PS4 has playstation now.

Yes! Please do a remaster! I don't want to wait for 2017 before I replay the whole trilogy with beautiful graphics. Maybe I'll even play a different class for my fourth trip through Shep's adventures.

 

For the record, EA didn't so they weren't going to do it. They said that they want to concentrate BioWare's resources on new IP. That doesn't mean that they won't outsource it. The quality will probably take a hit. But if the project has a good lead, it could still work out well for us. Bottom line, if EA does a cost-benefit analysis and they find that they would make money (overhauling these games, especially ME1 would take some real work) they will make the remaster. 

 

I, for one, am hoping for it to be released before ME:A. Because I hated the keep for DA:I.
