It would be great, honestly, but I'd rather have them concentrate on the new Mass Effect primarily, hopefully to be released next year...
And, for the 10-year anniversary of the first ME (November 2017), perhaps a re-release of the trilogy with polished graphics and all the DLCs included would be great. I wouldn't expect that they'd redo the combat system of ME1 (bringing ME2 up to par with ME3 might be easier though).
The Xbox One should be able to shoot flames out the side when flamer is used, produce an arctic breeze when snap cheese is used, and produce house shaking earthquakes when the Venom is used.
Then I'd be homeless an hour after inserting the disc into my One.

I would welcome it as I rarely have any desire to turn on my 360 and would like to occasionally come back to the trilogy. The only request I would have it that they bring our manifests from MP forward into the remastered edition.
I am not buying any current gen console, and I wouldn't buy a pc remastered version unless there is actually new content.

QME's not amazingly good for glaicer speedruns because no AC5 and diminishing returns with each additional one in the lobby.

I didn't mean simply resolution. I mean texture quality. And ME ones are pretty terrible in a lot of places.
I already own a PS4, so yes, I would probably by a remastered trilogy on this platform, assuming that all the DLCs are included, ME1 and ME2 graphics have been improved, I can play VS Collectors without freezing and I can transfer my ME3 MP maxed manifest on PS4. I wouldn't have the patience to rebuild it from 0.
Of course I would like new content as well but I don't believe it will happen. I think the remastered trilogy will just includes a better resolution for ME1 and ME2 and all the DLCs. The 3 games will be probably included in a single disc if that's possible.
They should seamlessly combine all 3 games including all DLCs into 1 big game with high res Mass Effect 3 assets and gameplay improvements and package the Mass Effect 3 MP with additional maps based on Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 environments and release it on PC, PS4 and Xbox One as the Mass Effect Trilogy: Ultimate Director's Cut. Also add in a couple dozen new MP kits and weapons for good measure as well.
Love the idea. Either way I would buy for XB1 since I enjoyed the games.
Also, in addition to the ME3MP we know and love, possibly some other modes of play..
I think it's too soon for a remaster personally. The games just aren't dated enough yet to warrant it.
If they do want to, I think it would be wise of Bioware to hold off on any remasters until devs (in general, not just Bioware) start learning how to better optimize for the newer console hardware. Eventually devs will learn the best way to optimize things for these new consoles and get out of this 900p 30fps rut many of them are stuck in.
I'd probably replay the trilogy on new console but I have no interest in grinding out another manifest. I'd rather the focus be placed on ME4.

You guys do realize if a remastered version is coming, it'll only be released for the current gen consoles right? They would just include higher-res textures that would be on par or slightly better than the PC version as well as native 1080p support.
These kind of things are always targeted for the console audience.
