Hello everyone!

I've played an inquisitor who allies with the mages, a loyalist knight enchanter who allied with the Templars....my next play through I've been thinking of being a mage who disbands the Templars.

How has this play through gone for you?

Im going to try put Cassandra on the sunburst throne aka Divine :D

I'm guessing you mean Cassandra as Divine? XD

I'm playing as an elf mage inquisitor now and she just disbanded the templars. Makes sense considering she didn't really felt connected to the mage rebels but still wanted to 'hurt' the templars since they hunt down dalish as well.

Disbanding if I recall correctly counts against Cassandra.

Still should be easy enough to have Cassandra get elected if you support her and let Gaspard take over.

I actually think the circles being disbanded but Templars kept around (on a very short leash) would be the best outcome. Templars wouldn't so much as be jailors as they would be an arm of the city guard or something. An elite few who are the ones to handle things if an abomination wanders into a city square or a mage thinks it will be funny to start lighting cows on fire, not a gigantic army that watches mages 24/7. And mages would be part of the Templars, because a mage is one the absolute best people out there when it comes to other mages. My spirit mage Hawke is such a mage, and with dispel I can pretty much completely disarm enemy mages to the point that they never get a spell off. Templars are kind of crappy versions of spirit mages, so a combination of Templar and spirit mage would be the best possible team for dealing with demon and mage trouble.

This is my ideal solution. No more circles, Templars are just a specialized version of city guard, and Templars actually allow mages into their ranks since they make better Templars than actual Templars in some ways.

It gives Cassandra 5 points so it still in her favor (alliance gives her 10).

One of the playthroughs I am tempted to do once all DLC have been released is a mage Trevelyan that conscripts the templars and puts Vivienne on the sunburst throne. I like the idea of the mages leading by example by working within the system and cooperating with the templars.

For that character, my mage/knight enchanter allied with the Templars instead. It makes for a really great opportunity to RP as a loyalist mage. He also put Vivienne as Divine.

My next mage finds the addiction to lyrium horrible and will encourage Cullen to kick it, and for Cassandra to rebuild the seekers.

Transfiguration of Jesus?

No, as in the Transfiguration that followed Andraste's return to the Maker.

I wonder why people have so much trouble making someone specific the Divine. I have found it super easy.

Less reverent than her "return to the Maker", but sure.
