Anybody else feeling a little like this by now?
Not really, because OP is either trolling or stupid. Likely the former. Either way, not worth commenting on seriously.
A serious question: For anyone who has used a Krogan Shaman with the PPR, what's your favorite build? He's a really hard character to figure out what the optimal spec is for this. Normally, I'd go 4/6/6/6/4, but I really like the idea of getting max shield recharge, so I can ensure that I'm never waiting longer for my shields to recharge than for my PPR to recharge. I'm thinking something like this: Build
Any points you all think could be better put elsewhere?

I used to, but not anymore. Gotta accept the BSN community the way it is.
Has anyone mentioned huntress/talon pistol builds? They tend to deal with the heavies that overwhelm people the most rather well IE: Dragoons, Phantoms, Ravagers, Banshees, Brutes, and to a lesser extent Pyros
Has the BSN metagame shifted from complaining everything is OP?
There isn't exactly a most viable character.
Easiest are your classics like TGI (stimp is pimp), Kroguard - Reegar, Destroyer, Flamer GTS, QMI and QME.
Someone mentioned Typhoon TGI earlier, and honestly I think that setup is better for general pugging and tomfoolery than the Harrier version. Of course Saber is more interesting, but probably not the easiest.
Next group is probably your GIs, Justicar, Valkyrie, Demo, Paladin, Jugg, something like that.

I don't care for the Talon on any class that doesn't have an accuracy boost or biotic charge.
Why not? Honest question.I don't care for the Talon on any class that doesn't have an accuracy boost or biotic charge.

Pellet based, and the spread tanks your damage as range increases. Would rather just go with Wraith (more pellets, more damage per pellet) for most of the caster-ish characters if I want a lightish shotgun. or maybe Paladin or Arc Pistol.
But taking a weapon that your cloak doesn't add bonus damage to makes it sub-par.
Cloak adds 40% damage to all weapons. Even passing gas is buffed by it.
Speccing out of overload is a bit like speccing out of hunter mode.
I do feel the need to point out that I was never simultaneously given a splitting headache and blinded by using Overload. ![]()

According to warriorsea, TGI + Reegar is the best thing to adventure into platinum pugs. I personally never tried but watched in horror a few times. And he was able to solo platinum with it at level 1 at 60 fps. It needs grenade capacity gear though. The tactics is simple: run to a spawn, cloak, pop stim pack, and apply reegar to the face. Rinse and repeat while staying at maximum reegar range from banshees and pretorians. Warriorsea was able to master the kit (and many other kits) really well as he needs minimal help from the team to run a game under 20 minutes all by himself.
Or they ask for advice on builds, then spend 5 pages ignoring that advice. Whatever suits you best really.
I did not ignore any advice on builds. I mentioned on page 3 that I don't put points into Overload on TGI, and then the holy war started.
By the way, I've played GE yesterday as per recommendation, but I specced out of Hunter Mode and it was the right decision. With HM, he's too squishy on Gold. And the overlay obscures vision more than it helps it.
And I actually have used TGI with overload. It is only after that I realized I don't need it.
PurpGuy used to put the Talon on the Justicar, before he started building her for Shield Regen Speed and maining a PPR.
He might still have it on the Huntress though. I'll ask him next time I see him online.

Oh, but TGI with adas is much better than TGI with harrier in platinum pugs IMHO. Easier to play, priming is more reliable, fire explosions are very good, and you don't need secondary for phantoms. He can be almost as good as geth engineer with adas as he can spam them explosions like mad because of 3 sec cooldown on overload. Also, he's immortal due to stim packs. You don't get no headshots but stuff dies very rapidly anyhow. Cloak, prime one or two targets, cloak again, overload, prime other targets. Apply stimpack as needed. Also, IMO, PPR is quite good on him for the same reason as it primes quite reliably. With harrier and disruptor ammo, well, maybe overload is a bit overrated although still useful situationally. But I cannot play TGI/harrier as I have to hug the ammo box and it gets messy with banshees and phantoms as these ladies like to penetrate me right on top of the ammo box.
For platinum GE, I agree. Ditch the hunter mode, take cyclonics 4 and geth scanner, spec turret for healing, and GE becomes immortal even with bad lag. But for gold, you should be fine with hunter mode unless you have head ache and general idiosyncrasy to HM. Even I can survive just fine in most cases.

He's just inexperienced. Come on, he played about 260 hours only. And already wants to pug platinum. I have not even ventured into platinum seriously up until 400 hours.

Huntress's cloak is the odd one... It does power damage bonus instead of weapon damage
As for the talon vs wraith, I could be wrong but I like the talon's clip size and the ability to put a power mod on.... If shotguns had power mods, i would be using a whole different loadout....
Huntress's cloak is the odd one...
It sure is. It adds 60%. To ALL damage. Weapons included.

No, huntress cloak does not effect weapon damage. Only makes you dark chan go into overdrive super melt mode.
Jeez...
How do you guys think shotgun any weapon wielding infiltrator get massive spikes in damage? 4b. All of them. Rank 6b is specialized for certain weapons or powers as is the case of the Huntress. Rank 6 is on top of the real juicy part of cloak.

When in doubt, ask peddroelm:

In case you can`t be bothered to click the links in the post above this, I`ll just give you the tl;dr
Huntress cloak does not effect weapon damage, only powerdamage. 4b, 6b, only powerdamge.
OK. Not the first time I've had to eat crow (I gave up looking at the tests years ago). Still, with the others my statement stands. 4b is too good to pass up.
