I don't know how it works, but there is also a site called Go Fund Me that you might be able to use as well:  http://www.gofundme....rts-Music-Film/You'll have to read it over to be sure, because I'm too lazy to do so. It's just something you might consider if you don't feel like you'll get enough off of kickstarter.

I am not in charge of the kickstarter itself, that is all Sanguine games. I just happened to write most of the material, so i've been promoting it with them. I know they have a good relationship with Kickstarter over IndieGoGo and GoFundMe, so if it fails we can maybe go there.

We made $500 in the first 2 days. Not bad id say for an indie tabletop supplement book.

 

Hopefully the trend continues. On May 1st heavier promotion begins.

It has been slow the past few days. Thankfully the actual ad campaign is going to begin, so more art updates and the mini comic promised if we hit $8,000 is going to be showcased a bit.

Right now were trending to about $4,306 based upon current trends.

 

If we can get people to buy into the "create an alien" option that would increase the book size by a bit, along with getting us over to at least $5-6k, if were lucky. 

 

Unless we get a massive push though, the $8,000 reward is unlikely. supplement books for an indie Sci-Fi Tabletop Game are a hard sell, let me tell you.

So someone backed out and took about $400 with them.

 

We lost ground and momentum...anyone feel like filling in the gap? On the bright side with that amount of money you can create an alien that will be drawn and written for the book!

Well, it's the home stretch on our kickstarter, and were 86% complete, Just about $500 more to go.

 

So if anyone wishes to pledge to it, loves sci-fi and indie tabletop games, now is the time.

Yeah, we would likely have hit it by now if that didn't happen.

 

Ah well,keep on pushing. A week to go and were knocking on the door at this point. Sadly it seems like the stretch goals will be out of reach.

We still got 4 days to go, but man it feels good to hit that hurdle.

 

Now if we can get at least another $1,000 in four days...at least the book will be bigger. Any takers out there want to help design an alien too? You get under-writer credit, a copy of the book, and control it's look and behavior, plus it will be professionally drawn by Donnie Weaver. The price is $399, but you get PDF and physical book copy, and all the extra money goes to paying Weaver.

Thank you. Neither can I. I have seen some of the art going through some changes, it is looking good. And I am editing the book constantly. 

 

I am hoping that we can keep adding to it now. One can hope, at least, but at least it was funded.
