Hey!  Sometime in the last, uh, five or so years, a set of scripts was released and uploaded to the old Vault which allowed one to set up NPC's to perform pre-scripted conversations with each other.  No ordinary affair, though, it seemed to be designed with really large amounts of non-interactive text in mind- such as having NPC's read through the parts of an entire Shakespearean play, for instance.  From what I recall, it was heavily keyed toward that sort of thing and may have also including staging functionality to have the players move about as necessary.  That was about the extent of the functionality as I recall it.

I'm not looking for help on writing something like it, I'm looking for that release specifically.

Does anyone happen to recall the name of this pack?  I'm not sure whether it's been added to the new Vault yet and my search-fu on there is still quite rusty.

Thanks!

I believe it was called "The Karador Theater" and it doesn't look like its been migrated yet.

ChaosQueen_Jessica_6 has a modified version of it in this prefab as well: http://neverwinterva...rea/city-londra.

There is this - Stageplay Plugin Script Template by Red Golem.

The DS Theater Scripting Language by DSenset

Telling of a Bard's Story by Negalith / Jeff V

Couldn't locate Karador Theater in the scripting .xml data file, although plenty of comments mentioning it.

FP!
