WEEKLY STRATEGY BRIEFING

For this week's challenge, you need to earn medals. There are several ways to do this. Medals are awarded for kills, kills steaks, ability kills, not being downed in an operation, team combos, completing an operation, and maybe something else that I forgot. Medals are awarded whether or not you complete the operation successfully!

The best way to complete this week's personal challenge is to Join or Host a game on your preferred difficulty. Play the operation and you'll earn medals. Repeat until you earn a Chest; it should take about 3-5 games.

I play 90% of my games solo due to satellite internet ISP.

I initially enjoyed the mixed factions, but now I'm finding it boorish. I was hoping the 'punishment' would have ended with the new week-end challenge.

The double bosses on Threatening have totally made my solo runs nearly impossible with the DC and Red Templar combo.

Back to Routine solo for me. Pity me; I'm just an old man trying to have some fun before the reaper comes knocking,

That was fun. Took about 5 games, but worth it. I'll say this, awful lot of people starting Threatening and Perilous matches on their own. Running into the middle of clusterf**k (open room, a giant and pulled enemies) makes things interesting.

For those interested in the community challenge, here are the target times for numbers of completed medals against each star:

• 1 star: PS4: 80,000 XB1/PC: 40,000, PS3/360: 10,000 FRI @8pmPDT, 11pmEDT, SAT @4amBST, 5amCEST
• 2 stars: PS4: 160,000 XB1/PC: 80,000, PS3/360: 20,000 SAT @6amPDT, 9amEDT, 2pmBST, 3pmCEST

May I ask, what promotion strategy have you followed? As Blair has mentioned the progression curve that is in place, have you promoted across your classes or spiked specific favourites?

 

This is currently how the system already works, we are just looking at improving it so that the progression curve is more rewarding. ...

Ok I think PS3 is already done!  I was checking a few minutes ago and can't see it anymore on the weekend challenge at HQ!  I haven't even got home from work yet.  If you don't add to the total do you still get the chest?  I mean I'll do my personal one and I'll help with the whole community one but looks like I won't be able to help with PS3.  I think they give us a way to low number to be honest because I think maybe we haven't finished 1 community challenge...I could be wrong because I'm doing it off the top of my head.  Oh well the personal one shouldn't take to many games as I'm usually good for at least one gold medal a game and sometimes more.

Hmm, not far off my own progress, 800k gold, Attributes 26-30. I do have several purple items, without encouraging hate to list them...

The problem with RNG really is the random part isn't it...
