Uh. What are the chances of finding employment with an above average paygrade as a Hungarian-English-German-Italian translator in the USA or Canada?

Probably pretty good, I think the issue is finding somewhere that sponsors Visas. There are many professional positions that fall under a J1 visa which states that you return to your home country after a number of years and which cannot be converted to citizenship (for the US anyway). Those visas do sometimes offer waivers of that return requirement though if you work in an underserved area. I'm not sure if a position as a translator falls under one of the professional categories for J1 visa or under a different category, however. That would need a little more research.
This looks like a good place to start

Thanks. Yeah, I was looking into that type of visa, also, I'll try taking part in a green card lottery whenever possible - once a year afaik (though that's pretty hard to win I have to admit). Still, that's quite a bit into the future since I'm (hopefully) just starting my Translators MA this September. ![]()
As for Star Wars. Who the f*ck is Snoke?

Yeah no idea.
**Spoilers**
There are the theories of Darth Plagueis. It fits in some ways, but A., he's not mun and B. JJ Abrams once alluded to the fact that there weren't Sith in the movie and he would have been. I think he may be some new presence that was a sort of watcher during the time of the original series... but I really have no idea. There have been some suggestions that he is someone we have seen before in the Universe, but then I really have no idea.

LOL, we almost always watch these with my buddy when we get drunk. And every other featurette, pretty much. We even made an abridged guide to every Star Wars episode so far for a non-believing friend.

All right, hands down Rebels is awesome. I watched the first five episodes yesterday, and I really liked them. The whole setting just feels in contrast with TCW, whereas TCW had the large-scale war feel of the prequel trilogy, and Rebels feels a lot like the classic trilogy, with more personal stories.

By the way, we had a brutal marketing campaign for SW7 in December if I hadn't mentioned that already. Everything was Star Wars in shops. Literally. Just a couple of things that I remember:
-Jar-Jar trappist cheese
-Kylo Ren sunflower seeds
-First Order Stormtrooper sausage (or ham? can't remember)
-Kylo Ren frozen strawberries
-Yoda milk (dunno if it was green though)
-C3PO chicken snack
-Yoda cola
-my favourite: BB-8, Chewie and Stormtrooper Super Sweet Corn
Like, what the f*ck.
