Now that you mention it, absolutely.  Human mage Wardens with the Keeper specialization, blood mage Hawkes, dual spec templar/reaver warrior Wardens... so many interesting possibilities for story implications there.

In the actual game of DAO you could have like in my case 2 specializations. so it could be tricky.

and if you go further through awakening and the dlc you could have a total of 4
