Given that problem you had with the retaliation glitch and its fix, I'd say it's different from anyone else's too

 

Or maybe you didn't understand exactly what clip I'm talking about? It's the one with the omni tool which ends up being EA, or something like that...

Yup, I skip that each and every time by pressing Space. It's on the screen for maybe 1/4th of a second, then it's replaced by the splash screen with "press any key to continue" which then fades out and makes way for the main menu which in theory would load almost instantly if the stupid game didn't insist on checking for DLC. Twice. While connecting to the EA servers.

 

I've got the N7 Collector's Edition, that's all I can say about it. Repaired, updated and working perfectly.

I never got the point of these things, even on consoles ... press X to continue ... why? Just load the fskin game already; what's the point in having it just sat there on a splash screen?!

 

Still, I suppose on PC you can have a beer in one hand and a cig in the other and just generally faceplant into the keyboard to hit any key...
