Would it be unreasonable that these chests would always contain 1 (one) random purple card? Think how much more meaningful the WE challenge would be, especially for relatively noobies who may not have 25 superb spirit runes, amd every weapon except the Sulevan blade.

As it is now, the Commendation chests are just more salvage trash; even the blue cards are junk.

This would be a painless addition for BW to make the WE challenges something more than a way to collect some additional player points. Even allow us to repeat the challenge if we wish; no additional player points but another chest with a purple wildcard. I can't imagine Platinum sales would suffer if any platinum is still be purchased this late in the game evolution.

I have really enjoyed the MP, even with the bugs/glitches/ect. but I'm getting bored with this repeat-repeat-repeat for junk-junk-junk.

Back to ME3MP for awhile?

Considering that 90% of Uniques (puples) are complete junk, even guaranteeing one per chest wouldn't do much.

Remember in ME3 when you were guaranteed an N7 weapon? (Most of which were good to great.) Yeah. That was cool.

Mine had a purple card in it.  But it was Knightslayer, which might have served somebody else better than me.

But in general, I agree with having at least one guaranteed purple.

If its too much to ask... make the blues and purples above a certain ilvl. I'm sick of getting trolled by Longbow of the partisans and shard shields.

Also, why are there still high ilvl purples that are worthless (berserk)? Is that intentional trolling?

That sounds great, those chests should give at least one great item, not much of a reward if it's just white stuff

A guaranteed random blue or purple item after winning a successful match, would be great, too

Maybe one item after winning in routine, two items in threatening, and three for perilous?

Would be more fun if a somewhat nice reward was given for winning, rather than just grinding for gold

The the most baffling thing of Commendation/Victory Chests, is that the Large Chest at store gives more better stuff.

I got a boon of the spoon...woot! No sarcasm at all. Now I have a reason to grind the mauls challenge.

Pls be reasonable. Getting a guaranteed purple (1, 2 or even 3) after a successful match is a little bit ridiculous:-) gold would be useless, cuz there ll be no reason why to buy chests

Guaranteed uniques wouldn't help much because there are tons of low level rares, if they increased higher level rares than the player base would dwindle even more since there are only two-three high end weapons for each class. There isn't enough content and maps to keep players interested long term. It's the gear that keeps the casuals playing, hopefully keeping them grinding away for more gold. Why do you think so many casuals in pugs insist on opening every treasure door? It's the gear and the expectation of hope of something good from rng, though it's a lost cause.

Face it, most of people who are still grinding away at damp are playing because they looking for a sulevin blade or superb hok and haven't gotten it just yet.

It's the saltiness from rng that keeps people albeit a smaller minority than the sane playing and although we may like a revamp, a less drastic alternative is add in more useful common/rare gear to the system and also lowering the possibilities of acquiring useless items
like rings of bleeding, wooden shields, and dirks.

I do hope that one day they get rid of treasure doors because through almost 2 mill gold and 600+ prestige on xbone, the source of most wipes and saltiness still comes from those dreaded pugs that refuse to move an inch if it isn't opened. If rng wasn't rewarding in single player than its 10x worse in damp.

I just played a couple of ME3MP matches, and it was a blast. Forgot how much joy it brings me to watch those athletic Asari commando babes run around from the 3rd person perspective, throwing bio-balls and saying such memorable quips as "Nice shot" with the 17 year old high school cheerleader voice. Makes an old man cry.

Also that body man, that Body!

Asari's from behind gives lot of joy to the eyes.

Zone them or boot them. Clear with out them. Personally I open doors then move on, letting others clear the room if they'd like, if I'm not taking the chest myself while my allies clear.

If you are wiping from the room on perilous, you have bigger issues than the room. . . mainly playing in a pug (make friends and private games) and not being able to solo (not powerful enough on the kit you chose).

I'm not being unreasonable, it was just an idea.

I just thought a guaranteed blue or higher after winning a match might make it more fun to play.

People would probably still buy chests for more loot and potions, well at least I would, anyway.

If there's not enough blue/purples in the game to last in that system, well they could always design more types or something.

Anyway, it was just a random idea to make things more fun, though it's not like bioware would actually listen to me in the first place,

since it would take a huge overhaul to do that, anyways.

Though, I heard that they're planning on revamping the rng system based on amount of previous chest openings?

So, maybe that'll solve the 'little reward for a lot of effort' problem.

Yep. I suspect RNG adjustment will be a very delicate process. Not enough and no-one notices, too much and there will be Caliban swords in every match.

Bioware should have a "Fire Sale" every so often on special EA holidays, like when it gobbled up Origin or Bioware:

Fire Sale today only:

Sulevin Blade - 800,000 gold
10% HOK - 600,000 gold
5% HOK - 400,000 gold

Think of the fun!!!

with how boring and repetitive the game has become they SHOULD put a unique in at least every 10 chests like they guarantee with their money grab mobile version.

At least there you know what you will get...That would tide me over for a few more weeks. With BB out and soon Witcher these guys are going to lose even more users.

I'm a noob and I've got a sulevin blade. It's wasted on me because I can't Katari on perilous and I can't Reaver, like at all. Guess I should practice more. RNG's been giving me good 2H. I've only spent a bit over 110,000 and I have Slayer, Sundering and Starfang (plus Sulevin).

I just got another fury of the veil in my com pack. Duel wield, please bioware?

It's always a joy to get blue/purple items from a chest.

But then its an item your Class can't use.
