Could someone please clarify all this?  I'm finding it difficult to sort through the official versus non-official info here and get all this just spelled out in a simple fashion.

Is this all the content?

1.  Terminus Weapon and Armor from Gamestop pre-order

2.  Inferno Armor from any other pre-order

3.  Normandy Crash Site mission from Cerberus Network (aka a new purchase)

4.  Blood Dragon Armor from Dragon Age purchase

5.  Collector's Weapon and Armor from Collector's Edition purchase

6.  New Mercenary Character from Cerberus Network

Are these items also included in the new character update?

-Recon Hood
-Sentry Interface
-Umbra Visor
-M-29 Incisor Sniper Rifle

Where do those items come from?  Is there anything I've missed?

UPDATE: I've been told the Recon, Sentry, and Umbra are from Dr. Pepper.  How do you get them?

Also, if the Sniper Rifle is just for the digital deluxe edition, why is it shown in the leaked Kotaku Xbox 360 images?  Was that an error?

The sniper rifle was shown in leaked Kotaku pics as being on Xbox.....which didn't have a digital deluxe edition. Is there another way to get it?

And how do you get the Dr. Pepper things?

If you have the Digital Deluxe you can download it on Xbox 360, the codes are shared on both versions... so I assume this is why it's available to download on Xbox Live Marketplace. No other way is known to get the rifle.

The Dr. Pepper items are not yet released, just checked 5 minutes ago.

Wow that's really lame....in order to get the Sniper Rifle on the Xbox you'd have to buy two versions of the game? The DLC for this thing is kind of ludicrous. I get having bonus content but they should make it simpler to get.

Anyone have a working link/description to Dr. Pepper items? That promotion page doesn't say anything.

Just to add, one "DLC" I don't see on the list.

Mass Effect Galaxy: Unique dialog between Miranda and Jacob when in your party.

Easy to get if you have an iPhone or iPod Touch. Download Mass Effect Galaxy, finish it, and login using your EA account under "extras" in Mass Effect Galaxy.

Unlock doesn't appear anywhere with the other DLC, and I haven't seen the unique dialog yet, or even what to lookout for.

I think they should just at some future point, put all the different weapons and armors on XBL marketplace as individual downloads or in one pack that you pay like 400 or 800 MS points, make it easy for everyone who wants the CE armor or the terminus or inferno armor/ and related weapons. This would clear up alot of these headaches about having to worry about what e-mail goes where...

You also have to buy two versions if you want both the Terminus and Inferno armor.  I hate retailer exclusive pre-order bonuses.  There should be just one.  You either pre-order FROM ANYWHERE and get the exclusive DLC or you don't and get nothing.  I can understand exclusive CE DLC, and I can even understand PC exclusive VS. console exclusive DLC, but they should not be usable on both.

You can also buy the code from ebay to get one of those armors, or like I did, preorder and return the game to get one of the codes (Gamestop). Best Buy also sold the code for Infernus in a preorder box for $5.

The rifle you can't, you have to buy a entire copy of ME2, and it has to be the digital deluxe copy no less, from EA, Steam, D2D or any digital download service, just to get this one item. I heard the rifle is a beast too, one shots or almost kills everything because it shoots 3 slugs.

So I hope they do make it available later on in some kinda promotion, or just free DLC.

I did this for Xenosaga III.  Preordered at both Gamestop and Best Buy.  Got my copy at GS for the artbook, returned it and used that money at BB for the LE case.  Also bought the Japanese pre-order DVD from Ebay or some import site (can't remeber).  The only pre-order bonus I didn't get was the life-size Telos wallscroll from GameCrazy since they don't exist in SW PA.  Nearest one is about 400-500 miles away.

Unfortunately, the nearest Best Buy is about 100 miles away now, so no more double pre-ordering trickery for me.

Here's some instructions I found for the Dr. Pepper promotional stuff (reposted from http://fr.reddit.com...romo_dlc_codes/), and it worked for me (was a pain in the ass though):

Here, I'll post the contents:

EA/Bioware and Dr. Pepper recently teamed up for a Mass Effect 2 promotion that provides drinkers of the soda the chance to win three DLC items for use in the new game. Those living outside the United States are sadly ineligible for the promotion, and players who just don’t drink the stuff may simply be out of luck.

As it turns out, I have good news. The keys provided in the promotion are completely static and reusable.

The codes are as follows:

CBEEAAA41NWH / CBEEAAAE4L9N / CBEEAAAFQG9J / CBEEAAAE98ZV

To apply these codes to your EA account and redeem the Mass Effect 2 DLC items, simply create an account on Dr Pepper’s Promotion website ( http://www.drpepper....ions/ea/signin/ ), fill in whatever fake details you please and simply use an @mailinator.com address for the e-mail field. The site will never ask you to confirm your e-mail address. Once you’ve logged in, simply enter the promotional code and pick “No Purchase” for each of the three fields.

When you’re done, just hit the button to redeem the DLC and log in with your real EA account details, select Mass Effect 2 from the list of games, and finalize your selection.

To redeem the remaining two items, simply repeat the process with a different code and e-mail address for your new DrPepper account, always logging back into your real EA account at the end to claim your item.
