No firing guns allowed, just Dark Channel on everything.
I've heard of this on Gold, but never Platinum. Has this been done before?
If not, does anyone have the patience and fortitude to volunteer? I am morbidly curious to see how this would turn out.
Can we start a pool to see how long it would take? I can't see how this would take any less than 2 hours against Collectors or Reapers, 3 hours against Cerberus, or 4 hours against Geth.

As a cloaking Huntress, will a single cast of DC get a damage boost each time you go In & out of cloak? Or does it only apply to the 2.5 sec period associated with the initial cloaked casting of DC..getting the basic DOT from then on?

DC gets boost for entire duration if you cast it from cloak.
Nice. Looking over some of Peddro's numbers, I believe I see what you mean. It's looking at DOT stacking, and I don't see any undulation of DC damage from cloak.

Not that I'm aware of. This sounds incredibly boring.
I doubt you'll manage to survive long enough to see extraction. While DC (especially from a cloaked Huntress) can kill anything, it can only affect one target at a time. What are you going to do against three Phantoms? Geth Primes? Or simply... how do you kill quickly enough not to be rushed by several enemies at once?

Just keep the kite train going. Should be easy, but extremely slow and boring.

That's the problem. On Platinum enemies will live long enough to meander all over the map, so you're bound to run into them sooner or later because you can't control the spawns with just DC.
Even better... Phantoms, Banshees and Praetorians are temporarily immune to powers, hitting them with DC is going to be so much fun while kiting. ^^

DC alone will not make any immunity barriers go up, unless flying crab. And dc ignores it like reave anyway, does it not?
If you kite at moderat speed, they will walk after you as group. Full speed running around the map is disaster

If it is applied already, it will continue to damage them even with the bubble up, yeah.
I might try it on the 30fps consoles but definitely not on 60+ fps PC. Anyway, I'm not a good enough player and my ~10 games on Platinum are not enough experience to attempt something like that.
This would take too long, and some target waves would probably not be feasible.
82:37 - Build
Took power amp and pistol power mod to boost the damage. I chose predator as the weapon because even if I accidentally shoot (which I did a few times), the damage is crap. Skipped warp for the build so as to avoid even accidentally using it.
Collectors are by far the best faction for this because they have the least shield-heavy waves. To be honest, only w8 is shield-heavy as every other shield wave has abomb spam. I nuked w8 thrice to counter that.
I did fire the weapon unintentionally a few times over the course of the game - may be 5 or 6 but it's predator without weapon mods or ammo vs. platinum enemies. So, it's hardly substantial.
That's insane slasher, even I with literally no social life, HELL, no life whats so ever, would never try something like that lol
