What was the toughest enemy to take down?

82:37 - Build

 

Took power amp and pistol power mod to boost the damage. I chose predator as the weapon because even if I accidentally shoot (which I did a few times), the damage is crap. Skipped warp for the build so as to avoid even accidentally using it.

 

Collectors are by far the best faction for this because they have the least shield-heavy waves. To be honest, only w8 is shield-heavy as every other shield wave has abomb spam. I nuked w8 thrice to counter that.

 

I did fire the weapon unintentionally a few times over the course of the game - may be 5 or 6 but it's predator without weapon mods or ammo vs. platinum enemies. So, it's hardly substantial. 

 

That's quite amazing.  I didn't think it could be done under 2 hours.

reave is the power that gives zero f#%"s, and will do damage to everything every time you cast it.

 

OT: That was faster then expectet, by a good margin. My guess was somewhere around the 2hour mark as a minimum.

I think what's most impressive is that you two both did it in almost the same time despite different maps and different enemies.

I think Flamer is the only other power that can beat huntress' DC in terms of one power-only solos. 

 

DI's recon mine, Justicar's and DA's reave may come close. Nades aren't gonna cut it because they aren't viable in these kind of settings. Now I'm curious.

Flamer doesn't have DC's ability to instant hit an enemy from across the map. It's obviously ridiculously strong in close quarters, but DC's blend of range and duration are just incredible if you can give it time. Especially for Phantoms, Collector Captains and other low-HP, high-damage enemies.

Yeah I'm curious too to see whether a Reave-only solo would be faster.
