So, I don't know of the Dev Mods are aware of this, but the armor we got as a part of the y'know, buying the upgraded version (before you released it as DLC) only has the DWARVEN ARMOR SET. As in no matter what race or class you are, your character is forced into the armor appearance of the Dwarf. If you're playing a Mage you end up wearing the Rogue version of the Armor, same as Rogue. I have no idea if Warrior ends up with Warrior or not.

This makes the armor look utterly ridiculous on any race but Dwarf (barring Qunari who are large so it's not as bad but still off).

I went trolling through the files on the harddrive where the install was and noticed something.

There are only TWO FILES under "FlamesAppearance"

Did you guys forget to give us the rest of the armor or what? I keep ditching the damn stuff despite its buffs because it looks horrendous. It literally makes my Dalish have huge ass shoulders and a waist the size of a barrel. It's bulky and disgusting.

I've seen your photosets of the armor. What I have on my Dalish when I put it on? It's not what is in the photoset.

My dwarf is. My dwarf's fine. My dwarf is the only character that is fine.

So suggestion? Please give us the rest of those files. Please. This has been bugging me from day one and I have NO IDEA where to ask for you guys to FIX IT but you kind of forgot something when you gave us the game.

Is there any possibility you could post a picture? I haven't played a dwarf yet, so I'm afraid I'm not certain what you're referring to. In my game, the armor titled Flames of the Inquisition looked pretty much the same across female human, female elf, and male qunari.

Someone else might recognize your issue and have a workaround or fix for it.

A picture would help the developers or modders quickly determine the underlying issue.  It certain helps in duplicating and troubleshooting behavior bugs.

I'm having some framerate issues at the moment, but the minute I get my game working I'll grab some screens of Salroka to show you how the Dwarf Rogue Flames of the Inquisition armor looks, and then compare it to screens of my Rogue Elf Alvynian, and my Mage Elf Dera. You'll be able to see that its the same armor set with now varrience.

Its precisely that the armor LOOKS THE SAME across all species that is the problem. All of the species in DAI are diverse in looks. Elves have a VERY DIFFERENT walk animation and rigging set up compared to humans, and the same with Qunari and Dwarves. The fact that the armor is staple when in promotional art they released FOR the armor listing of Warrior, Mage, Rogue armor types and showing a Qunari, Elf, and Dwarf in each armor, with very obvious differences to the armor sets way back when Bioware made the snap decision to make Flames of the Inquisition a DLC instead of "upgrade purchase only" it's pretty obvious they forget some files.

No one's just raised their voices because apparently no one pays attention to these things except me and my graphics designing roommate?

It's not a bug. There are literally only TWO FILES in the file path. That's not a bug, that's an issue with the packaging of the game. Here, let me show you.

2761364-dragon6.jpgMage, as you can see here the armor is thinner at the waist, the shoulders are SMALL, the back tail is LONG, and then hands are short. The armor looks fit for a Qunari and fit for a Mage.

2761365-dragon7.jpgSimilar design, right? Except a key few differences. The shoulders are broader as this is a heavy armor depicted of a Warrior. It is still sized proportionately for a Qunari, thought, but it appears the center tail is a bit less prominent in size. That could just be the angle. However it's still fit for a Qunari body type, especially a warrior given how the shoulders and arms work.

Rogue. I'm not sure if this is an Elf or a Human. The center portion is going down from the crotch THICK, there is a waist that is definable but less noticeable compared to Qunari. The shoulders are a little larger, the arms a bit bulkier, but it appears to fit the model otherwise. The chest is a bit thinner but goes in line with the Inquisitor's build.

Screen10_EN.jpg

Another Rogue, this one definitely an elf. You can see that there is no visible waistline since Elves seem to forgo that. It's easier to see how the shoulders aren't too bulky here and how that the chest portion fits and flows properly with the body. There is no bulging or bulking. The waist even sits a bit higher up than on any other race. It fits the character model, right?

2761363-dragon5.jpgDwarf. Dwarf warrior, specifically. The shoulders are huge and encompassing, but they squish inward because of the size. They lead down towards the hands and are covered in tons of armor. You can see clearly how the center crotch portion is short and how the back portion flows down but not too far. The waist is lower and large and the chest even bulges outward a little bit like dwarves do. It fits the model.

THE ABOVE IMAGE HERE, the DWARF WARRIOR, is what I constantly see on my Rogue Elf. I see the Rogue variant on my Rogue Dwarf. I've seen the exact armor set above on my roommates Qunari. There are differences to the armor, subtle, but they exist. There are not appearing in the game at all.

The file path and the files therein:

Screenshot%2049_zpshtzzeu21.pngThis is located under you game data, you can see the filepath clearly above. There is a PACKAGE file here and then a data folder.

Screenshot%2048_zpsaijuxxf1.pngAnother folder, and within that:

Screenshot%2051_zps7hcukwma.png

These two files. Now either these files denote only the Warrior and Rogue outfits and there is a bug within them that is negating them from displaying Warrior and Rogue outfits for Qunari, Elf, and Human, or these are not the full proper amount of files we are supposed to have, or there's just a bug within it period.

At any rate, this is either a bug, or it's a misstep in files. I know my Elfquisitors EACH when wearing their armor look overly bulky and have this added FOUR INCHES OF CHEST out of nowhere. Like it bulges from their neck outward and as you can see from the promotional screenshots it doesn't do that normally.
