I've felt like this before. During a time when it when there were a few new games on the horizon I was looking forward to, as well. Just quit. Go off and play a round of sports with your friends, go catch a game. Do whatever you wanna. Because that's what video games are all about... Being free to be who you are. More importantly, feeling free enough to do what you wanna.

Am I the only one here who doesn't get the point of this thread?
I mean, why bother officially quitting video games? Why not just play when you feel like it, and don't play when you don't feel like it?

I can understand the need to make a topic on this. At least the OP isn't making whole new threads about a sub-topic on sharing Dragon Ball Xenoverse characters when the thread for that already exists.

I personally have had episodes of burnout with gaming and usually I just do other things for a week or two, but I always find something that draws me back. Also it's tough during spring and summer due to the lack of good new games. Some times current games just don't have what I need and I break out some old personal favorites and fire them up again. This can rekindle my lost interest but the problem is some of these oldies really make me want a newer updated version or a sequel even if there is no chance it's going to happen.
