Fix your **** and stop letting kids Ddos your servers. You already have another Lizard squad copycat group running around and screwing with the service. "Oh, we'll have it back online ASAP" doesn't quite cut it. Do something you idiots instead of blowing it off.

Gee, I'm beginning to wonder if that latest group is right about you all being the big bad corporation.

Don't say get a PS, they get brought down all the time.

With love,

Impulse.

"Needed to vent"

Thoughts on this crap people?

Oh, man, the rage that could have been had they kept the "always-online" feature...

What's going on?

The Western World's information security infrastructure is many years behind where it needs to be, and many popular electronic services that we usually take for granted are only functioning at the pleasure of script kiddies.

That would have been insane. I wonder how many of the "always-online" supporters would have done an about face?

The Western World's information security infrastructure is a couple of decades behind where it needs to be, and many popular electronic services that we usually take for granted are only functioning at the pleasure of script kiddies.

Can't we just upgrade the infrastructure and mow down the script kiddies?

I wish it was that easy. The thing is that every system has a vulnerability.

Alright class, I shall explain...

XBL is getting ddos'd. What, second time this week? There is a new group claiming to do it, which it may be true or not. This is an attempt to become famous. They'll likely get the attention.

Now, considering with the previous two groups, Lizard Squad and another that came before,  and maybe more groups, MS still thinks their servers are fine. They won't upgrade them for protection.

When I get hope from school or work, nothing pisses me off more when I cannot relax and unwind (Or get rowdy and angry) on XBL because some fat 11 year old had the servers ddos'd. Either this group is false and LS is back at it again or it's true and they need to promptly kill themselves. There are many people who feel the same way.

Now, MS won't admit that crap is happening to their severs and just respond, "We'll have XBL back up in a bit? M'kay?"

Whatever though, if it becomes too bad I'll just read some Manga or something.

Oh, and anyone notice that Wii never gets attacked? I wonder why...

I'm tired and need to snooze.

But Xbox Live has worked fine for me. The only time it ever went down for me was the Christmas ddos thing.

Infrastructure updating faster than the software to break said infrastructure?

Xbox Live's new price $300/month, and they'd go bankrupt.

Makes me wonder how the hell we ever won the cold war.

I was under the impression that you can't really do anything to stop ddos attacks. Is this false?
